  • The Real Carbonara
    I have tried many different forms of carbonara either eating from a restaurant or trying it at home with cream or the sauces available from the supermarket. However, I recently came across the recipe created by the Great Italian Chef Antonio Carluccio who made this as The Real Carbonara. I have tried this recipe now and would like to share this video for all of you to try. Hope you will like it as much as I have. The ingredients and method are mentioned below. Thank you.
    Ingredients
    Pasta - Fettuccine or Spaghetti
    Guanciale or Bacon
    2 eggs
    1tbsp Olive Oil
    2tbsp Mozzarella Cheese
    Salt and Pepper to taste
    Cheese to serve
    Method
    Cook The pasta according to package directions
    While the pasta is cooking we are going to fry the Guanciale/bacon
    Then in a bowl add in 2 eggs and whisk then add cheese and salt and pepper and mix
    Then once the pasta is cooked add the pasta to the Guanciale / bacon and add 50L pasta water and mix in eggs and mix.
    Then let it sit for 6 -8 minutes
    Add cheese and Serve hot!!!
