  • What is the true meaning of the ancient and little-known Biblical holiday of Tu b'Av? Where did Tu b’Av come from and what does it have to do with Creation? Finally, how does Tu b’Av rectify the problem of Tisha b’Av, the saddest day of the Jewish year?
Also discussed is the Jewish view of soulmates, the three types of love, the purpose of the Book of Judges (Shoftim), and a deeper look at the lives of Kings David and Solomon.

Seem a recall a while back reading that depending on the level of soul-mate one merits to receive, it may not actually be ideal in terms of happiness though is ideal in terms of personal rectification. Been trying to recall a verse or excerpt where a bad wife or soul-mate is akin to a noose on a tree dragging down her husband (or something similar to that effect).

Greek is said to have 7 words for love. Aside from Eros, Philia and Agápe that has Hebrew parallels, do any Hebrew direct or indirect equivalents exist for the 4 other Greek words for love such as Erotoropia (or ludus), Storge, Philautia and Pragma: committed, companionate (yet conditional) love?

@@kievandyke8994I pray you come to faith in Jeshua before the rapture. HE loves you and is your savior. Maranatha.

There is no rapture, there is no ‘second coming’, Jesus is not God, he didn’t die for your sins and worship of him (or any human being) is idolatry. You should learn about the Noahide laws - Rabbi Palvanov just started a series on this topic.

@@j.butler7619 you are sadly mistaken. But you will not see until Jesus comes. Then you will. Sorry for you.

@@jennystreet283.. there will be no ‘rapture’. In fact the doctrine of the pre-trib rapture didn’t even come into being until the 1830s. So if this is an actual Christian belief, why wasn’t it espoused from the beginning of your religion? It wasn’t because Christians always read into the text what they think they see there which is why there are thousands of Christian denominations, each one espousing different theologies.
No rapture, no second coming, Jesus isn’t God, JC didn’t die for anyone’s sins but his own and if you worship a human being you’re an idolator.
If you’re a gentile your connection to God is the Noahic covenant - you should spend your time understanding and following it instead of chasing after made-up myths and fables.

It’s amazing that you feel greater than God, that you would not recite his word, bc you felt it was so horrific?!?! That is a very religious spirit. The thing that separates Gods people is that our God has us to recite accurate accounts of the story as apposed to the rest of the nations where it is his-story. Bc they love to embellish themselves.

You are not speaking the truth multiple wives were and are of God. Moses made provisions for Gods people for it.
