The only thing I find difficult if planning for whatever everyone is bringing. For example, I know people offer to bring something but they typically don't offer till a couple days before so it's hard for me to plan everything because I don't know what so and so is going to bring uhhhhh. This is why if I am invited to someone's house for a dinner I make sure to ask WAY ahead what to bring therefore it's easier for them to plan on not having to make that one particular item.
