I've seen a lot of wig install videos and have never known anyone to cut the cap like that to prevent the hanging in the back. This has changed my WHOLE life. Thank you.
You ate!! I've recently started doing my own hair and I use spritz after applying the lace to melt it more, and I also apply makeup aswell. But this showed me I don't need to do that!!
Yessss girl! You don’t need to. Make up is cool, but you can use lace tint. It’s easier and use the ebin spry to melt the lace. This will have your hair looking like scalppppp 🫶🏽

Hello, I am very impressed with your wig installation and would like to know more about the process. Could you please share the steps you took to prepare the wig with the lace tent, including any products you used and where you purchased your head caps? I would greatly appreciate any information you can provide so that I can attempt to recreate this installation myself. Thank you for your time and consideration.

I’ve had my wig for about 6 months and still haven’t put on because I don’t know how to do it. I normally buy the precut glueless wigs but not this time. This detailed video has given me confidence to get my wig out and put it on! Thank you!…What glue did you use, please?
It is better to me. That ebin spray has a lot of alcohol in it. That’s something you wouldn’t want all over your edges for 2 weeks. 😕 with the glue it’s in front of your edges because you can control where you put it. With the spray you can’t control it.
I did love how u made sure your video was very detailed when it came to helping the girlies💗 but question did u bleach the nots first so it was easier to melt
First time on ur channel and i must say this is by far the most detailed wig install ever. where was you when i learned in 2021 girl🤣 i love it! how long on average would you say 2-3 layers last in an install? i didn’t really notice you molding much like most stylists stresses us to do
Thank you so much!! 💖 Lol i was still learning at that time 😂 2-3 layers should last 3 weeks or more really. Depending on the melting process. If you follow the steps on here it’ll last 3-4 weeks for sure.
I must say this is the video to watch for a tutorial and yes I will be heavy handed like you because this was perfect. My only thing is please set the camera up so I can see EVERYTHING 👀 I want to see every detail so mine come out just like your or dam near close! PERFECTION! ❤🔥✨😉

@@charmedbychinaomg yesssss!!!! I was gonna say I’m sitting here like “now just HOW did she NOT use makeup or tint on the cap or the lace & it’s looking FLAWLESS like that!? 🤔” 🤣 did you tint the lace & just not the cap? Or did you do both? Do you feel like (depending on the skin tone) tinting is necessary? I’ve watched ALL of your videos so far because I have a few days off coming up. And I’m DETERMINED to master laying my own wigs! 😩🤦🏾♀️
@@ladydonna773 haha thanks for watching! I used lace tint on the lace only. Tinting is very necessary if you’re on the darker side. Fair tone skin really doesn’t need to have tint on the lace unless the lace is white lol. But HD lace is always better no matter the skin tone
I play tennis and sweat in my head a lot. Will this technique keep my wig install from sliding backward, or do i need to used a headband when i am playing sports or yoga.
If you play sports you should do 1/2 glueless 1/2 Sew-down. I use an elastic band to keep my front lace in tact, glue my side burns and I sew the middle and back down to my braided head.
I love this ❤the hair is beautiful I love the texture and curliness lol is that a word? Anywho I am learning how to do my own install and need a good wig I have everything else I need to install just a good wig but I am definitely subscribing
It’s best to wear a silk scarf instead of those elastic bands. That’s the best way to keep lace from lifting. You keep the band on until you’re done styling your hair.
You don’t use melting spray before you apply the glue? Should I use melting spray or just glue in the beginning is fine? Btw thank you so much for this video it’s amazing!

I see alot of girls doing caps but I've hardly seen someone do it without it,..but girls do I would assume without it makes I look very realistic but I feel like with it it helps keep it in place, but then again I have no idea
i personally believe if you want a more scalp look, install the wig with a cap. but if you aren’t too bothered about it then its fine without it. i personally think you can install with or without the cap and it can still turn out nice. without the cap, the look will be dependent on how neat and flat the cornrow/straight back braids are. other times you can wear the cap without gluing it down just so that the parting of the wig gives a scalp look. without a cap, people either tint the lace or use makeup foundation to give the wig some color for the scalp
