Pretty good idea to release your System 55 sound in a desktop synth. Not everyone is into Modular and this Model 15 would be great for touring. Honestly, I really appreciate Behringer's dedication to semi-modular/modular design and poly chaining.
How does this compare with the Model-D? Just from looks alone, it looks like there is "less" there. Maybe you factor in the modular patching and the situation gets much better... but how do you think these two synths compare?
@@PerryCodes Personally, I prefer the sound and modular format of the 55 Series. It's raw and exploratory. On the other hand, the Model B is a good "standard" East Coast synth. Behringer should make a real spring reverb unit designed for synths. Simple wish list: ability to go 100% wet for use as a send. Some simple low and high pass filters.
Hi Behringer! Could you please consider make a program/plugin that saves patches on those synths that can’t by them selfs. And a way to go back and forth saved and what you see on the panel. 😊
Dear Behringer, I'm very curious for videos / news of the Soul series mini synths! Can I hope to watch something soon? Or how long does it take until further details will be available. They look very promising!
I have a nice DotCom system and have been looking to add a bit to it. I think the Model 15 and the Pro-1 will fit perfect in my lower cabinet with the 914 between the two. Then, build another cabinet for a few Model D’s and a couple 960’s and 962’s.
I honestly can't wait for this to be available, and I see a whole lot of Grandmothers for sale as of late, so I think this is going to really influence the market in favour of cheaper pricing (hopefully). Grandmother retailprices are soaring as of late, it's almost silly. Any news on chip delivery, @Behringer?
Could you make a (3.5mm. jack to slide-switch-unit) to go under the '2500'! That would appeal to me and would save (ware and tear)on jacks'! I have looked into building my own, because I doubt this idea would ever take-off!
Love your synths! Keep it up... I would ask though, to have the midi input on the rear, instead on the top panel ? (if possible, I assume this is probably due to space constraints?)
I'm glad for the chip shortage delaying all this stuff. I've bought so much Behringer synths before the shortage that I needed to give buying a break! By the time this stuff is out I'll have the money again and I won't miss any production runs. When Behringer started doing this I told myself I'd buy every Behringer synth released. It's proving impossible because there's more and more in the works than any of us imagined. I do have most of them!
Behringer I do not know if you are serious with all the synths you promise to release, but I want to buy absolutely everything, provided that the reliability is there!
