They aren’t sure if it is or not, just speculation, gray fox transmission cut off before he could reveal it all. Big boss is just playing along, or stalling, or however you want to interpret it.

Nevermind, that can't work Fox and Snake trained together and Snake was only 12 in 1984. So scratch that. Haha!

Naomi did inject him with nanomachines but she couldn't go through with the accelerated aging. She injected him with a placebo instead. The reason being she wanted him to live a wide awake nightmare of all the lives he'd taken including Fox. In her mind, it was a fate worse than death so no, I didn't kill him. His ending is slightly different.

This clearly took effort, AI is janky as hell to work with, and this guy made a whole anime episode with it, this is what AI should be used for, people with little art skills making cool stuff, not corporations with billions of dollars at their disposal.
It’s really a shame we never have gotten a remake of Solid Snake when he was young. It really makes you wonder what Snake was like before the events of Outer Heaven and Zanzibar. What truly molded him into the character we see from Metal Gear Solid 1- Metal Gear Solid 4. Especially to see how he learns from Gray Fox as a Rookie. Great video, loved the similar voice affect from MGS1 as it makes him sound abit younger.
Yeah I’m still hoping for a proper remake one day! Solid snake is such an interesting character, his entire life was war all the way til the end. The events of mg and mg2 are pivotal moments as well, mg1 and mg2 are like what mgs3 was for big boss. Snake and Fox have kind of a big brother little brother relationship, and even as enemies they’re still friends. They’re just tools to be used and discarded when they stop becoming useful in the cycle of war. Which makes you think well then what does outer heaven represent? Are they the bad guys? All good stuff!
It's a pity that Konami and Kojima himself don't seem too interested in a project like this besides just soft remasters of the games. There are many references to these first Metal Gear games in MGS and beyond that only make sense when you know their lore. Cyborg Gray Fox is a good example.
@on3278 Big Boss and his seemingly infinite clones (literally and metaphorically) Kojima is a competent writer and has some nice ideas here and there, but honestly he gets too pretentious sometimes or gets too obsessed on things that the audience doesn't ask at all.
Some group about 12 years ago made a short fan film that touches on that. It's a well kept secret from a group called Orion Optimus. They nailed it. The fight scenes are freaking brutal for a fan made film.

Was there in 1998 when Metal Gear Solid for the PS1 came out. To this day, it’s remained my favorite game of all time. Metal Gear has always been my favorite series of all time and I have always dreamed of a proper remake of the Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake on a modern platform and this anime just reinforces this fact beyond a doubt. Thank you beyond words for this. It’s wonderful to know there are people out there who care about this universe as much as I do.
Facts when this dropped, I was in the 6th grade. This game was all the rage. If you wasn’t playing this or played this back then, you missed out for sure. This changed everything. Plus how kool was it to smoke a cigarettes while in mission
Same here MGS series has the best stories telling or lore then any other games that was ever made from PS1 to 5. I would love a new MGS games that take place in a new universe that tell the story of a new Solid Snake, but still use the same voice actor cause he is too awesome.

I know they have the remake of MGS3 coming out this year and the remastered collections sound like they will continue to come. With Kojima out of Konami, I’ll we be dumbfounded if they have the balls to make a MGS6 without him. His fingerprints are all over each game. There is a path forward to make it work, but the right people behind the scenes have to be involved as Metal Gear Survive has demonstrated.

The 1980's style of anime for this is the perfect fit for this even more so because the MG has its story in the 80's

Yeah, if you give those games a chance they’re actually fun games to play. And a critical element to the overall story of the series which is weird seeing as they get so little attention 🤔
