I want to note that if you are doing soul matching make sure that you always soul match two same weapon types or two same armour.For example:always soul match axe with axe or gauntlets with another gauntlets.Don't soul match 2 different armour types or weapon because the price may be 10 TIMES HIGHER.
fr it's ridiculous even on nioh 1, was soul matching up 3 levels n it cost 19 million with another type
This is not ALWAYS true. Some Different items give better stats for less price. This is a Level amount to upgrade vs type cost. But Generally yes, it is cheaper to stay with same items. i have found upgrades at 87k vs 112k, on another source before, so DO shop around a little, here and there.

@@Cholobin after you finish the eye of the beholder on the first difficulty, go to mission select map screen, zoom out and it should say at the top something like dream of the samurai and you just change that, bumper on ps4

For early NG+ divine gear farming, I used "A Voice in the Twilight" sub mission (Awakening region).
Jump down into the arena and kill revenants, DO NOT pet the scumpass otherwise the mission starts.
The arena has loads of revenants, I was able to go from 25 to 85 divine fragments just from farming there for 15 mins

You can add two scaling options in remodelling by using the triangle button on one of the options, and then hitting the X button on a second one.
Know how to do that on PC?
@@arthurabogado5054 Same way you would on console, just translate the X/Triangle button to whatever controller scheme you use. If you use M/KB I've got no idea, I'm sorry.
@@OverFjell thanks for the answer. I only found out recently. It's the middle mouse button for me. Might be completely different for other people as I've completely remapped my M/KB control. No worries though, the button will show itself in the bottom once you start remodelling divine gear.
You are great at really explaining and breaking down the things that most other “build” videos take for granted. They just assume you are walking in knowing most of the things they are talking about. As a new gamer and very new Nioh player this is exactly how I needed this information broken down.

Great tip about using orange inheritables to fill up the empty slots on a weapon and then temper them to be whatever you like. Shame the familiarity must be full, makes the process more laborious. Thanks.

One thing to add for some people. When trying to soul match an inheritable if you have max familiarity and it still won’t transfer some skills may be clashing so you will need to re-roll before you’ll be able to the inheritable. Hope that makes sense and thanks again.

Every video is a (best build on planet earth build) where people one shot bosses immediately followed by a long trigonometry class diagram on how to accomplish this. But your video really gets straight to the point is super clear tells exactly what to do and doesn't assume that we know every single in and out of this incredible yet very deep combat/ scaling system. Just want to add, once you have enough material. Don’t dissemble the equipment, donate them to your clan for glory point. And use glory point to purchase that component from the tea house guy (forgot the name of the component, you will need it to forge Glue). You will need a ton of glue to max the fam on your the armors. Instead of farming glue you can forge them.

The glue is so hard to farm. I find a good spot to farm the gold inherit armor and need tons of glue to max fam fast. My friend told me I can actually buy the components from the tea house guy and forge it myself. Way easier. However it cost 3k glory point each.

Now i understand why i yesterday beat the last boss in the main mission so easy. After the nightmare which was Shibata Katsuie i started smithing insanely overpowered gear. I ended up with a +2 violet spear with nearly 1300 damage and +1 gear with many violet skills. I feel bad a little bit, because i was clearly completely overpowered when i beat the last boss. This guy hadn't any chance. But on the other side, the game has punished me too many, many times 😀

I love the way you made this video! Very easy to understand and straightforward. Me as a Nioh veteran with over 5k hours in the first game think it's the best video I've seen so far for new plagers. PWAR is one of the biggest youtubers for this game and never liked his videos. He speaks way too fast and videos are chaotic. I started playing a week ago and I am trying to get through all dreams as fast as possible. Keep it up.
Additional tips are; when farming revenants, use ninjutsu and onmyo on them to help out their progression a little bit (even if you don't actually use onmyo and ninjutsu in normal play) and equip the gear that has the orange inheritables on them to also boost yheir familiarity to make the inheriting process a bit faster. Nice video, my man.

If you allow me i want to precise a thing on ambracites. Since you found Murasama the blacksmith (or/and unlocking NG+ i guess) you can craft ambracite. 10 fragment for 1 ambracite (possible as soon as you found Toyo the blacksmith in NG)
3 quality ambracites for 1 fabled.
3 fabled for one divine ambracite.
Still, can't craft quality ambracite, so you have to farm it, as you said, in twilight missions or rewards in NG+ missions. And in coop missions under conditions i guess too but i have not confirmed it yet.

Thank you, I started playing this on the heels of ripping through Bloodborne 5 times in 3 weeks. This game has been fun but very stress inducing, mostly because I came at it with ... I should be melting everything by the third main mission mentality and in a Team Ninja game that just don't happen
Just getting on nioh 2 for PS5 nd this video was very needed 💯 nioh 2 might be the best game in the world lol we need more like it, it’s the coop that really make this game even more amazing 💯
A good tip for noobies is to go to the tea collection in your house and boost luck, it will increase overall drop level and rarity, making it easier to get level 150 and divines, even +2

Onos just to touch on inheritable and revenant farming. Who ever is readin farm those revenants get Inheritables to boost dmg get:
ATTACK []>[] or >[] slot it on all your gear through soul matching, remember familiarity need to be maxed out on both the gear u want to use as base and material. Attack []>[] or >[] is mostly found on gloves. Applying this method for weapons special effects etc should help. Note : attack can
be inherited to corrupted weapons using a soul core with the []>[] or >[] but the figure is small eg +2 attack, so look for inheritables like melee dmg, attack bonus DeX, Agility or rifle dmg, bow dmg etc you'll get the hang of it. Don't horde gear sell for gold or dismantle for material. Helpful guide Onos thx.

So after 27 hours of swearing I finally got smithing text for that legendary strategist armour,...But I didn't notice that you can also boost your smithing text drop rate from yokai shifting tree and also temper item drop rate on every piece of euipment(except boots).It dropped from lady Okamura.Geez RNG in this game is pure torture,...

I wouldn’t discount missions as being useful sources of Divine gear. Rushing through isn’t actually necessary when you need the XP to get to level 300 and some of the enemies are extremely generous when it comes to dropping Devines. Especially the few that generate dark zones. 1. They almost always drop a soul core and soul cores just take the sh*t you want to flesh out even further and 2. They have a higher chance at dropping Devine gear. Same goes with the enemies that come from the clouds of darkness, albeit toned down, of course. Also as you reach the end of dream of the strong, it’s worth to mention that there is no avoiding the fact that damage accumulation is king. Poison, water, even purification if you have the trident vraja helm, they can all be ridiculous. Building the weapon to inflict a status ailment through tempering and buffing the accumulation and then adding damage towards the inflicted enemy on an accessory is going to make you a god. Also, active skills. Don’t ignore them. Farming revenants can yield the chance to get white inheritables that can give damage bonuses to certain active skills. If you’re using dual sword, Windstorm is probably the best one to work on. If you’re Katana, Iai QuickDraw. Odachi - the clear winner is moonlit snow. That’s just what I’ve learned from my time with Nioh 2. Also, great video. Only wish I saw your channel sooner because NG+ was a slugfest for me. And sorry for the tremendously long read.

This was a great vid - I get so sick of all the vid assuming you’re a Nioh 2 expert
In the first Nioh 1 the only way to get AA+ Heart and Familiarity Bonus A+ for example you would have to press Reforge until you get those stats.... You couldn't get them EVEN when using Fabled Umbercites... it was random. Does Nioh 2 have those AA+ and Familiarity Bonus on weapons?

Leveling upper and lower Limit with Muramassa does not increase the chances of receiving a +1 weapon. Weapon craft comes with a Level range, let's say 165-170. By increasing your upper and lower limit you simply increase your chances to get a higher level range when doing the craft.

I'm looking for a "fastest path to DotNioh" kinda vid. Basically what missions to avoid because they are inefficient for X or Y reason.
Your best bet (my own path) was to do all the main missions so that you can unlock the next difficulty as soon as possible. Avoid the DLC content as that becomes WAY harder. Then just jump into the next difficulty on the very first mission - you'll get loads of Amrita and level really fast - you'll also start to pick up better gear quality at the same time - that's what I did anyway. Alternatively - if you check out my video on the Abyss - you get a ridiculous amount of Amrita in there so you could spend some time power levelling if you wanted to

Hey Gary. Level sync basically puts a cap on your stats so that they can't reach beyond a certain point. I've never taken note of all the details though so you're right... It might be useful to check that out properly!
Thank you from what i have read it Synks your level to what ever is your highest mission level compleated so example if you run a misson at say 150 but you completed a level 210 its supposed Synk your level & the mission to make it like its the 1st time you ever played it it also says its supposed to scale the gear that drops at that level but i tried it out & does not seem to be the case wich is why i asked 😂

😮 I got a simple question here: If I got an Armor with attack bonus based on courage and a weapon in my use but not from the same armor set with the same hability, DO I GET the damage hability to my use on both, or not?

Are the special effects on divine items generally worse than the stats on ethereal items even if they were the same level? cuz I'd like to have mix some divine graces into my builds but don't know if crafting them is worth or should I just farm them
Hi Onos, it's been a time but I wanted to question this cause I feel a little Lost (sorry for My English I'm from Argentina). I'm in NG+ and don't know if I should go to +10 160 weapon, Full Farm Armrita por simply go trough Main missions. Should I do the subs too?
I need help with a decision. I want to try out new builds (my main build is axe). Do I start a new game or do I use book of reincarnation on my main character (even though Im near the final boss)?.
I definitely wouldn't start a new game... I made that mistake and spent a lot of time messing around on other characters when I really didn't need to..... You can save your current build... And then just switch back to it once you're finished with experiments etc
You can save your build as it is for free... But then when you want to load back into it... You'll need another book of reincarnation to do it. Hope that helps

Hey man. Appreciating the video. I crafted a switchglaive and I remember you saying you're trying to get a clean weapon with no inheritables. I just crafted a night heron glaive and the product has white arrow shit. Wtf?
If the white arrow (locked inheritable) is a good roll though there is no harm keeping it
