So 4 leds will need about 13 Volt, which is near enough to battey voltage, just use that 5 ohm resistor anyway 😉

The LED used requires a heat radiator for prolonged use. The resister needs a higher wattage say 1/2 watt - But as You Have only 1/4 watt this is what I would do first get 4 x 330R, join 2 in series, and DO the same with the other 2 resisters making 2 series pairs. ( This will ad the 2 330R together making 660R ) Now join the 2 series pairs in Parallel and that will divide the total resistance back to 330R. Instead of a lone 1/4 watt = 250 mWatt LOAD BEARING MAX resister, you now have at least a 500 mWatt 330R resister. ( yes I here you say it ads to 1watt. I always divide resistance load capacity as a rule of thumb when applying this use to resisters ) Now Ohm's Law - Assumption, and I round up (>) Battery max Volts 13.8v ( 13.8v - LED 3v = 10.8v ) ( 10.8v / 330R = .033 Amp ) ( 10.8v / .033 Amp = (>) 327R ) ( 10.8v * .033 Amp = (>) 365 mWatt ) there for a lone 330R 1/4 watt RESISTER AND NO LED HEAT RADIATOR not good for prolonged use.

Search on ebay for Epistar LED chips, beads, cob, etc. They have the type in the video in 1watt and 3watt i believe in multiple colors. Hope that helps.
