- How did they get away with this one? This is said to be a like-for-like clone of the original Boss VB-2 and Behringer are selling this for less that $30?! The Behringer UV300 Ultra Vibrato is an amazing sounding vibrato for not a lot of cash and today we are going to put the UV-300 through it's paces. The VB-2(W) is one of my favourite pedals, this does all the vibrato things I like that the boss does. Sounds great. I’m a fan of super subtle settings with vibrato, I’ve had much more expensive pedals that didn’t do the things this can.
Yeah, the subtle settings add a shimmery overtone, which is great for adding movement to a clean tone. Gotta admit, this one impressed me 👍

I had this pedal for a minute until I acquired a Digitech Ventura.

@@BudgetPedalChap I think so. It’s digital, has its version of a univibe, vibrato, and a sweet rotary (which is why I bought it).

Man, Behringer just delivers. My 1st pedal ever was their OD/Distortion and I still have it. Yes it's plastic but it holds up.
On a side note, since you are THE guru, have you ever found a decent affordable tape delay? I've not been able to find anything like a Belle Epoch style that is reasonable.
Behringer pedal aren't to be slept on, they've got some total gems.
The tape delays that come to mind are stuff like the d-seed and the flashback, which do other things as well. The Donner yellow fall is kind of tape voiced but not really as fancy as the belle. I shall keep an eye out though 👍

Behringer pedals sound as good as anything out there but people are embarrassed to be seen with them on their boards so they spend £150 more on essentially the same circuit in a cooler housing

Greetings BPC sincere I saw you did a review I have a question I hoped you could answer. I just bought this and no matter where I set the other 2 knobs I hear no difference using the rise knob. Can you ever actually hear anything affected at all adjusting the rise knob? Trying to figure out if this really does anything, Thanks.
The rise knob adjusts the amount of time it takes for the effect to get up to speed after you switch it on. It's a bit like a ramp control for a rotary speaker, so it doesn't do anything until you switch it on or off. Hope that helps 👍
