This is the kind of list I've been looking for, love race vids especially with combos
tfw he says "for the majority of specs, dwarves is going to be your best choice", meanwhile, 75% of the top 100 parses in mythic raids are still Troll
This list is useless, since we all know that the one truly best race is Tuskarr ❤

I hated the idea of Vulpera at first but I couldn't forever because A. I love raccoons and desert foxes in general and B. I actually imagined what a Vulpera shaman would be like and I think for THAT class and possibly hunter they are actually SICK in a lore wise story telling kind of way. Not to mention the new foxish glyph for shamans ghost wolf form just makes sense. But definitely some feral forest born fox creature wielding earth magic or fist weapons is just awesome. Rouge would work too I guess but Shaman and Hunter for the win
I would love to see it specially now with 10.1.5 coming out and you can play all the races now it be awesome to see which race to play for what class. Love you guys contact and refer to it a lot.
We considered making it per spec, but as mentioned, it would be a reaaaaaly long list
Tauren’s aoe stun is very useful! So it deserves its placing. My main is tauren and i had no idea about racials back in the days while i made it but i made an good choise 😂 my healer alt is lf draenei tho cause they look so cool

A good question for min maxing race dps: are you looking at short encounters or long encounters?
I found in data the races with strong actives like orc/troll are really powerful in those short windows obviously. Races like Dwarf/Tauren pull ahead over time .
If I remember right the biggest disparity was in those short windows with actives up as you would expect. Like you said those, it’s basically all a non-factor. Most players probably benefiting from stronger passives rather than actives.

Thing is though, doing my own sims we are talking about 2% between the ultra best and the ultra worst races at least it was for warlock. Ultimately what they say is true unless you're really bleeding edge the racials are essentially a cherry on top of a sweet cake.
This essentially. My own tier list looks very different, and that's because I value other things outside of the 2% differences between the "best" and "worst" races.
1. HighMountain Tauren - gathering?
2. Human - hard to beat the flat rep increase.
3. Pandaren - negate a lot of fall damage plus a pick-your-own Stat increase via food.
4. Vulpera - make camp is a huge increase in mobility throughout the world. Dark Iron is a runner up here for movement throughout the world.
5. Kul Tiran and Worgen - lore, animations, and accents.
Just my dumb tier list.

I use the Draenei racial all the time on my monk. Macro it with both dampen harm and diffuse magic.

The only passive Tauren’s regret is “getting stuck in doors.”
My top 3 favorite is Tauren Goblin and Blood elf. War Stomp Aoe stun feels good, for example on warrior i can replace Shockwave with it and 2% crit damage is also good, Paladin doesn't even have an option for aoe stun so I like it on him too
it's good indeed but honestly i feel uncomfortable playing with tauren cause half of my screen takes that ugly bstard body.
edit : so i would choose goblin or blood elf mostly.

Isn’t the cooldown on shockwave much lower? It’s nice to have an extra but replace?
@@johnj4471 Depends on the situation but the warrior also has Aoe fear, so you have two AoE interrupt just in case anyway, War stomp 1.5min cd Shockwave 40sec and you lose some dmg choosing it
On the bag rummage for Vulp, that would have worked if you unlocked the other tricks for the bag, I think they dropped off raid bosses, but they just reskin the projectile, not changing the damage at all, just the damage type, like to fire or shadow instead of the nature base damage it does, still though yeah it's cooldown is too long to make that usable during the damage troughs from any sinewavey spec.
The true reason people play Vulp is the noises when you use power moves, like an angry gerbil, it's too adorable.

I loved Humans in Classic: Active Stealth detection, rep boost and willpower i think. They was great in PvP. I am up for a ranking, could be putted in more parts.
just against rogues. Undead Racial is good against Priest, Warlocks, Warriors, Hunters, Paladins

Just on the note of orc /Pet classes: Unholy DK probably also still falls into that category, I remember a few years ago they were pretty obvious BiS for UH.... :)

The tools on mechagnomes don’t matter since they were given a slot in profession tab.
Dwarf best key race, racial defensive better than any in hunter kit
very true, a lot of high key pushers go dwarf from what i have seen
I play kul titan as the muscle for my main, Fabius bile on tech server... I am always accompanied by bald gnome rogues, some night elf street treats, and a payment mage who moves souls from a zero th to shadow lands. Fabius calls the gnomes the vat born, the elves are kept away or he kills them, and he's !looking for donors to help create gland hounds...
DI Dwarves are the hottest race in WoW
So with the fix race you actually have to go out a find the other throwing iteam there a holy, fire and shadow, nature damage with holy and nature for healing
you can choose from 24 races you can be everything fantasy can offer - me - Human :-D
You can unlock other tricks on Vulpera by going to certain locations and looting them...
Vulpera racial Nose for trouble healing is actually really under appreciated, y’all are sleeping on it!!!

There is a flaw in the tier list as may classes value states differently from each other and generally main stat is better than secondary stats. The Heroic Presence of the Draenei is 1% of there base main stat I think or at max lvl 113 main stat but you put them under races that only offer 1% secondary stat. With that putting the Draenei down in D tier would be inaccurate they should at the very least be in B if not A tier.
ppl underestimate the powah of cute goats main stat.
Yeah the 1% are usually 180-200 rating max which on many classes 100 primary is worth more. Healing specs may vary but this is a dps list and for the most part it’s at minimum a 2:1 primary to secondary ratio if not more.
hardly, I point you to sims (mostly st) and you will see draenei being below average on most specs, didn’t pull this ranking out of my ass :)
@@MarcelianOnline I did say many classes value stats differently from each other and I did check the value of HP on my main a Ret Pally and the value is about double any secondary stat. As for the other classes if they value secondary more than main stat then yes Draenei will be lower on the list but for classes that value main stat more they will be higher. I know this was a just for fun tier list and putting all the classes into one tier list is to complex a thing to show accurate results for all dps specs. But I still don't think they are D tier ;)
@@benprescott8646 I mean according to method, for example, even lightforged for ret paladin is only 1.4% behind the top(they also say Tauren). However they put pretty much all other races equal.

eerm, Nightbourne got ALL magic damage +1% not just arcane, the resist is for arcane only
all this min max thing is for the 0.01 % player so its so for a normal player all the same . ^^

In practice, 99.9% of the playerbase firmly believes they´re part of the .1%, which is why even meta classes and specs have been getting kicked from even the most facerollable kinderkeyz for not being the optimal race since the day cross-faction was introduced.... because that 1% more damage is absolutely necessary to counteract the -75% dmg debuff from being a terribad (No abc, no pre positioning, DBM installed but just for the eye candy, etc. ).
There are no "casual" WoW players, in ntheir mind every scrub on Azeroth is always actively participating in the RWF, even if it´s the day before the next patch and they´re still progressing on LFR. ;)

The draenei racial was great back in the day when if gave everyone in your group 1% hit rating. It really helped with itemization when you had to be hit capped, my WOTLK raid team made sure to have a drainei in every single group so people didn't have to worry about the hit cap.

Isn't it just a fact that Mechagnomes are the best dps race in the whole game? but even that does not convince people to be diaper babies.
People should always play what they enjoy, both class, spec, and race wise. It's a game that should be enjoyed after all! But it's good to keep informed!
i find it hard to belive humans are that good when u do the math wouldnt it work out summit likeless than 0.1% of each stat or summit like that?... not bad tho

I can't lie, I play what I like to see. I don't even care about racials. For instance. I love how undead cast, so my shadow priest is undead female. I love how Orcs shoot guns, so i'jll go with orc. I can't play a troll just cause its mix maxing lol 1% dps gain = no thanks. Those dudes have their feet out LOL

I love you dude, but you couldn't be more wrong. The order is simple, best race for DPS is Forsaken, because we're awesome. Unless your character is female or 'Body Type 2' since females aren't real, then it's blood elf.
