Nigeria has a lot of beautiful places, imagine this wonderful tourist destination, and the revenue it would be generating if it's well funded and taking care of, God help Nigeria 🇳🇬 Nice video ✅❤️
Nigerian is such a language country with some beautiful. Resources rich culture in any country the authorities only focus and popular cities. And the rest leave un attended. Thank bro 😎
I wonder why some foreigners comes to Lagos and assume it's the whole Nigeria, talking about how chaotic Nigeria is which is sadden and a biased way to think or talk,Nigeria has a lot of quite beautiful, less populated, standard way of leaving and all that but it's quite alright tho
Because Lagos is the former capital city and still the leading financial powerhouse of Nigeria so most people won't look further than that because when you say Nigeria you automatically think Lagos!!
David, going through your videos now makes something very clear to me. Nigeria is such a beautiful country and the "powers that be" don't want it's beauty to shine that is why they create and sponsor insecurity to overshadow it's beauty.
I have been here calabar I took a pic at acrossriver round about I been many places in Nigeria and I will be back there again soon beautiful Nigeria 🇳🇬 motherland west Africa 🤗❤️EVERYTHING GREEN I FOUND NIGERIA 🇳🇬 FLAG COLOR MEANING IN CALABAR GREEN CITY 🤗🙏🏾🎩💪🏾
Another great documentary, David👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 When are you going to visit Methodist College, Uzuakoli, my alma mater, and ndi ogom? A co- sponsor of that visit awaits 😊
David, whilst I like the way you promote Nigeria there is one thing that needs to be done. People need to stop depending on governments, they are all corporations that have usurped the original roles of government. So knowing this,,do not vote(give your power to a lessor god) and build communities up that benefit humanity. Why does the Marina have to 'die' because of the lack of funding? Are the resources still available for the enjoyment of the people? This dependence on the illusion of government is what is killing our very own souls. Remember that dominion was given to us, this comes with responsibilities like caring for the land and everything within it, it was not given to government, man stands above government, but we do not own the resources and nor does government. Good luck on your travels and thank you for showing us Calabria!
Do you know sometimes it's the government that prevents well meaning Nigerians from investing in Nigeria. They are like the bible said, " you're not getting into the gates of heaven and you prevent others from getting in also" I know well meaning Nigerians who really wanted to do much in this country with billions of naira but the very government wants them to bribe them with huge sums in billions before they will allow them do such. But when it's the whites, the government worships and licks their asses for wanting to invest in Nigeria. This is a very sad reality in Nigeria. Sometimes I think our ancestors swore on their lives that Nigeria will never amount to anything no matter how had she tries.
How far is city cross River state from Lagos and Abuja. Because this place look like paradise, sometimes when someone opening up something to social media it can bring negativity or positivity, some places in a country should leave has is a paradise and this place is one of them.
Was this "abandonment" also due to the global pandemic? Alot of countries worldwide got a huge tourism hit! Anyhow, I also feel that tourism areas need to be privatised. Great informative video.
I am confused Nigerians. Why would you paint your floor with green and white and step on it?! That's your national flag!! God bless Nigeria our homeland.🇳🇬
Any were built and maintained by the missionaries is outstanding and beautiful I so wished the government will release back those places to continue under the church maintanace
The government has no business setting up businesses within its state, that's for the private sector. I knew Donald Duke's vision would fail and to be honest, although it's rather unfortunate, I can see why consecutive governments abandoned his initiatives. I mean, if a new government comes in, and wants to focus on socialist programs (building schools, roads, hospitals), how can they do that, when most of the governments funds are wrapped up in a project that isn't really bearing much fruit. What Donald should have done was encouraged foreign investors to do it.

Please get your facts in order. Twin killing was not a Nigerian practice, it was practised only in Calabar. The Yoruba people cherished their twins and even worshipped them, this is well documented.
The oldest Secondry school in Nigeria is C M S Grammar School, Bariga Lagos founded in 1857 and NOT Kings College founded in 1909 nor Hope Wadell Institute. Twins were never killed in Yoruba land and in many parts of Nigeria but only in Calabar
Why will it not be save ? Where by nothing good is there so locall very poor gold diggers are the in power the most poorest state ever in Nigeria shame on theirs leaders
You say it is one of the safest, what about the kidnappings that are happening there? Unfortunately, there are a lot of nice places in Nigeria but it is also covering bad press due to terrorism, corruption, and crime. Also, it is not the job of govt. to make cinemas.

It's the handwork of the federal government and lagos state so that the eastern region will be out of context
Because Lagos is the former capital city and still the leading financial powerhouse of Nigeria so most people won't look further than that because when you say Nigeria you automatically think Lagos!!

The story of Nigeria is one of cascading faults and missed opportunities.

It was due to neglect
There is the dilemma. How do you keep a government OR private corporation from becoming corrupt,, and putting people before profit?
Not all parts of Nigeria were against twin birth. It was mainly in the eastern part. The Yorubas didn't see it as a bad thing but a blessing.
Ben ayade just messed up the state
God have mercy on Cross River State ,they need a good Govt
I agree with ur thought.
When next am home i will visit calabar. Our government should do better
You didn't visit The TINAPA Resort?

why are you so stupid ?
The word in the title "abandoned" is designed to fool people into watching your video. The video has nothing to do with "abandoned".
You say it is one of the safest, what about the kidnappings that are happening there?
Unfortunately, there are a lot of nice places in Nigeria but it is also covering bad press due to terrorism, corruption, and crime. Also, it is not the job of govt. to make cinemas.
Oga no kidnapping here
