I like the way you demonstrated the disassembly. Goes to show that there are many ways to skin the cat. It would have been nice if they added that in the instructions for their customers though, along with torque specs etc.
Very cool for manual rifle competitions, even if your country/state has cool gun laws. And a lifesaver in ban states. However, it absolutely needs a pump lock mechanism. If you pull the rifle into your shoulder with the pump grip, you will accudentally pull it out of battery. It needs to stay locked until the trigger was pulled. And it should have an easily exchangable AR trigger.
I didn't know you could have pump-action rifles in Australia. This is one thing I'm pretty sure we can't have in the UK which is such a same since these would really popular over here.
A disappointment that, at the design phase, that there wasn't more emphasis placed on easy assembly. I see others use the AR two-pin design. Undoing screws in aluminium over a long time IS NOT A GOOD DESIGN. A cheap design, yes. Ensure you use a good quality lubricant made for steel screws in aluminium to prevent wear on the soft internal threads.
Here are some excellent choices: Permatex Copper Anti-Seize Lubricant: A popular and widely available option that provides excellent corrosion resistance and prevents galling (the seizing together of dissimilar metals). Loctite Copper Anti-Seize Compound: Another top-rated choice known for its durability and effectiveness in preventing wear and tear on both the screw and the aluminum threads. Key Considerations: Choose a copper-based anti-seize: Copper is an excellent conductor of heat and electricity, which can help to dissipate heat and reduce friction between the two metals. Apply sparingly: Only a small amount of anti-seize is needed on the threads of the screw. Clean the threads: Before applying the anti-seize, make sure to thoroughly clean the threads of both the screw and the aluminum component to ensure proper adhesion.
