12:44 This is the best thing about Kaito Files. I always feel a bit jarring how despite being a super awesome martial artist, Yagami went down with one measly punch in stealth section RGG rectify that with the counter QTE is a simple but very needed improvement.
I personally think that they actually planned to give a qte to Yagami, especially with how there's a huge delay from the "found" to the "punch". But.. didn't, for some reasons. It's still very jarring and why they didn't even give one to him but to Kaito is weird. Heck, he's even holding Yagami's stance afterwards, implying this is Yagami's attack. Kaito would've just held the fist in his hand and headbutt the guy to naptime.
i got stuck on the observation mode for this section prior to the long battle it was absolutely so absurd that i did not look at the door for the first 10 minutes
One thing I adore about the entirety of this DLC is that it really shows not only how powerful Kaito is, but how skilled he is at fighting. Yagami might have agility and speed on his side, but Kaito has raw strength and manpower the likes of which rival other RGG mainstays. In this short expansion alone, he throws a giant lamp post with a giant chunk of the ground on the end of it, he fights through near 100 men mostly on his own, and tanks a full blown punch from Shirikaba to the forehead, to the point he probably almost broke his hand. All I hope is that this isn’t the last time we get to step into his shoes and don that shiny orange shirt.
this long battle was a bit annoying considering i was shot by 3 people, all of them did 50% of my health (this was also on legend and i had no equipment) not only that buts one of those fights where they bring reinforcements BUT it’s all worth it cause of the final boss
When he is not fighting with the sword If you look very closely to Igarashi fighting stance his fighting style is pretty similiar to Yahata and Hamura normal boxing based fighting style.
I mean RGG has a habit of reusing movesets like its going outta style. Senda uses Daigo's moveset as well. We can count Kaito literally having Kiryu's Brawler style (with a few original additions) and Beast style.
Damn, that would be awesome! But yea, considering the styles.. yagami's styles are more majima and likewise kaito's styles are kiryu Snake - thug, Tiger - slugger, crane - breaker, bruiser - brawler, boxer - rush, tank - beast

Same here, made 0 sense with Yagami, glad they added something like this.

Maybe time constraints were the reason. But If that was the case they could've added it in an update.

Just a tad bit off from a good sync

Thank you for the consistent uploads devilleon7
This Long Battle reminds me about Yakuza 0 where Kiryu must Escape from Tojo Clan with Oda and Tachibana
1:25 - 1:28
Kazuma Kiryu's heat action
He copied his entire style and all you noticed was one heat action?
I love your series!
The Blu Marino Hotel Raid reminds me about Yakuza 6 where Kiryu and his friends must find Takumi Someya
Because the yakuza 6 long battle is to find kiyomi takes place in the hotel.
Wait, I just remembered those detectives. Didn’t they have the boss fight? When one was with sword.
Oh damn thank you for reminding me! I keep getting mixed up in all the videos.
@@devilleon7 You are welcome!

Actually, I believe it is a move that every Character have in Yakuza games.
Kaito's pants is Similar to Kiryu's pants
Yakuza fans when something is slightly similar to another thing

Wonder where kaito got the clothes from
I hope Judgment 3 will have 2 Protagonists, Which is Masaharu Kaito replacing Kazuma Kiryu, and Takayuki Yagami replacing Goro Majima.
Damn, that would be awesome! But yea, considering the styles.. yagami's styles are more majima and likewise kaito's styles are kiryu

Nothing to see here, just Kaito taking out the trash.
Igrashi is using Hamura (Yahata)'s moveset :O
Funnily enough, the sub boss Ueta during this long battle does as well
