Holy shit ive been trying to remember this song since highschool! Finally googled the right combination of words. 25 god damn years of humming this in my head. Order has been retsored to a small corner of my soul.
I was blown away when I first heard this back in 94! screeching weasel singing about dead bodies in El Mozote and born against singing about a girl lol. amazing split! one of my favorite 90's splits. I don't know why the weasel songs were never included on the kill the musicians comp. That explains why the new generation of weasel fans have never heard these songs
Ben wrote the lyrics for Sam, and vice versa. Came out really good!
Janelle is a f*cking awesome song!
El Mozote is back in the news (it is fun to watch that Elliot Abrams squirm) and I just kept thinking of the first song from this split. Such a jam.
