About a month ago, I heard Bomsori for the first time. And I was shocked by this discovery of Bomsori as never before in my life. Now this same impression is only getting stronger.
And the same questions remain. Where did this bright, unique and perfect miracle like Bomsori come from? She is a completely new phenomenon. She is definitely a genius.
I recall you had discovered Bomsori during the COVID pandemic. For me, it happened in May 2023. Since then, I have spent no less than 2-3 hours a day on average watching/listening to Bomsori, as I am fortunate to have a job I can perform without distraction while listening to music. Not just the violinist but Bomsori the whole person has captivated me profoundly.
@@Love2Run Yes, it was thanks to COVID19 that I discovered Bomsori. And thanks to Bomsori, the darkness of COVID19 turned into a completely unexpected vast and bright world, opened by her violin playing (and, judging by the comments, this was not just for me alone).
I listen to Bomsori almost every day too.
By completely immersing herself in music with all her heart, she creates an invaluable live atmosphere of creativity for listeners. Bomsori has a crystal clear and transparent playing style that cannot be found in anyone else. Somehow, Bomsori manages to express with her violin something very relevant and very complex that is almost impossible to express in words (even though she has to do a lot of hard work to express it all with her violin).
… This complexity is a bit like the one where some commentators sometimes try to compare Bomsori and Kyung Wha Chung (although this is not correct and unfair). For example, somewhere there was even completely undeserved reproach that Bomsori was imitating Kyung Wha Chung, although this was complete absurdity. In fact, both of them are very different brilliant violin masters. Their philosophies (views), indeed, are very close in some areas (one might say that they go in similar directions) in their choice to meet the challenges of our accelerating turbulent times.
... The world that Bomsori expresses with her violin seems to me priceless, alive, the only normal and human one.
@@mykolal6834 I have appreciated all of your comments on Bomsori's UA-cam videos, as your expression is spot on with how I feel. There are many virtuoso violinists out there who play at the highest level (from the perspective of a layperson like me anyway), but I was drawn to Bomsori like steel to magnet. Her disposition is irresistible to me. When interacting with others, she smiles and laughs easily which demonstrates her humility despite her celebrity status. In that sense, she is like an angel. During performance, her facial and bodily expressions which convey beauty, confidence, and strength, to me are absolutely second to none. I know she will be performing this coming weekend in Pittsburgh… I hope someday she will come to Chicago where I live.

Playing so sincerely, she extremely exposes her amazing beautiful soul and her best spiritual values. She is able to express deep human emotions with her amazing violin. In our time, the time of the beginning of machine artificial intelligence, Bomsori is priceless.

A surprisingly subtle, careful attentive tenderness is conveyed in the playing of her violin. And sometimes a restless spirit. She expresses all the time a variety of living feelings. She never has a dominance of one tonality. For example, minor. She conveys precisely the combination of variegated - and therefore, lively and most diverse feelings (minor-major, cheerful). Maybe she also bewitches the audience with this?
What a beautiful sound! It's so rich. She has such mastery of her instrument. The pianist is exceptional as well. Thank you for sharing!
