Some of these "outs" are not outs. For example, when a catcher "catches" the ball between his arm and his body, or if the ball sticks in his mask, or the ball goes up and behind the chest protector, that is not a legal catch. That is a trap, not a catcb. The ball must be caught in the hand or mitt. I think so. I could be wrong. But I I don't think so. What o you think?
It's the "Detached Equipment" rule. A defensive player cannot deliberately touch a batted or pitched ball with detached equipment, such as a catcher using their mask after removing it or a player throwing their glove and it touching the ball.
0:34 Detached Equipment rule. Can't touch the ball with your mask in your hand. thats an automatic run because the only runner was on Third Base...
Is true

Can someone explain the catcher using his mask issue?
Is illegal

violation of the "Detached Equipment" Rule results in the runners advancing one base from where they were when the illegal contact occurred.
It's always cool
Thanks brother
