- Kazza and I are just so excited for you all to meet our Lil' Nugget- Sierra Ebba Trautman, and share in our adventure as we try to figure out the sailing life with a baby on board!!! After 6 months in Sweden we're back on Delos and just so excited for you to meet Sierra :) She was born in Sweden and when she was 4 months old we decided it was time to head back to our floating home. So far It's been an emotional roller coaster with many highs, a few lows, and more than our share of poop stories....

Brings back memories of our first 18years ago. The biggest thing is they will grow up really really quickly so enjoy every single day without being desperate for her to roll over, sit up, walk talk etc etc.

Nothing seems forced, it just seems so natural. The journey through pregnancy, labor, the early months and then the big move back to Delos makes this one of my favorite episodes you have ever made. I can't wait to see your future adventures. And thanks once again for making a real impact on my life and my daughter's. Delos is 100% responsible for getting us into scuba, and I'm hooked. We actually used the same dive crew quite by chance that you used in Grenada. I'm hoping one day to join you all for a cruise and dive.
What an honor to bee present at the delivery. After being with you on 250 voyages we feel connected to you. It would have been heart breaking to miss the delivery.
That was really cool, that how we started watching Delos, when my wife got to the pregnancy no fun part, we watched UA-cam and found sv Delos, now our 8 1/2 year old is watching Delos on her iPad, watching you guys , cool!

My wife and I have lived on a boat in the Caribbean for the last seven years and our son is only a few weeks older than Sierra. This episode made me recall a lot about our own adventure we started last summer (although my wife’s labor was less than 6 hours - almost didn’t make it to the hospital one island over). Congrats and fair winds.

Congratulations guys! The first few months with your first baby are so special. After following you guys awhile, I sent my first “buy us a beer” donation, and designated it as a “buy us some diapers” donation. Capt. Brian responded almost immediately with such a kind message - which isn’t the norm in my experience with UA-cam channels. I’m such a fan of all of you. If you ever make your way through Newport / Balboa, CA to complete the navigation, be sure to reach out. My kids are wanna-be boat kids, and would love to meet you!

That's not what I take away from the last (#258) video. I think Senior Brady just said 'Good-bye' to being captain for now. He and Blue will be back as crew IMO. That's a big boat for a crew of two and "half".

WOW, WOW, WOW!!!!! That is just so wonderful.. what a beautiful bub... I was glued to every second of this video. Tears of joy when Sierra entered the world and tears of sadness when mother and daughter part at the airport. At the end of the video I realised my mouth was hurting from smiling so much.

Glad you’re back. Hope to see more family video’s. Have been living aboard for 38 years with children (4) and grandchildren (12). Have been confronted with a lot of labour, but 54 hours was new. Incredible, unimaginable. Karin you’re a champion. Nice to see the father doing research in the meantime. The little parasite’s screaming moved me to tears. Astonished she’s so demanding, didn’t notice the parents were. I can understand her need for movement, did a lot of midnight dancing with some. Live goes on, happy to see children aboard. I agree that as tiring as it can be, I would do it all over again. Sometimes I miss my little girl. She's 37 now with four "nuggets" of her own. It goes so quickly. 💟
Best advice you can give somebody somebody told me that when I first had a kid believe it or not at the age of 50 somebody told me they said savor every minute cuz don't because blink and it'll be over
