LIVE: UNSC Holds a Briefing on the Situation in West Asia | Gaza Conflict | Israel Hamas War
United Nations Security Council holds a briefing on the situation in West Asia, including the Palestinian question. At least 41,252 Palestinians have been killed and 95,497 injured in Israel’s military offensive on Gaza since October 7, according to the Gaza Health Ministry. At least four people have been killed as Israel bombed a home in the Bureij refugee camp, in the central Gaza Strip. The civil defence said Israeli troops targeted them as they attempted to rescue dozens of people trapped under the rubble. Raids have also been reported in Gaza City, where at least one person was killed in a strike on al-Sahaba Street.
