Congratulations on pushing to the finish through several obstacles. I watched this while on the treadmill and it was a fun way to relive a very special race.
Thank you! Yeah, this was a tough one for sure. Loved the race though, getting to run in New York was a dream come true and the race was amazing. Could have done without the pain :-) but still had an awesome time.
Thank you. Yeah, not something I'd advice anyone, but with races getting deferred it just happened this way. I felt ready and strong at the start of the race and actually started out faster than in Chicago, but those last miles there was a lot of pain. Next one in 3 months, that seems like a better recovery time. :-)
CONGRATULATIONS 🎉❤ One more amazing race for the books! I can’t even imagine how you run a marathon while recording, thanks for sharing this awesome achievement!
Way to go Arno! Great job and wonderful to see CnZ as your faithful support crew! Run like the wind 💨 or hobble like three legged donkey 😂. Love ya man!
Thanks. Yeah, that was a long walk, getting all the way out of the park and then I had to get back all the way down to 54th street. Weird thing was that shuffling along with the crowd hurt my legs more than when I could have a little bit of a pace in my step, so I tried to get away from the people so that I could keep walking a little bit faster, cause the slow walking with the crowd was just painful. :-)
Very nice Video. And I know what you mean about 2 marathons in a month. I ran Chicago and NY also in 2023. See you in Tokyo 2024. I will run that one too.
Yeah running these marathons so close together does take a toll. They are great courses though. How did you like Tokyo? I had a great race again there.
You are so cool man 9 think and in spite of your hamstrings and cramps so you can be proud of your accomplishments . How many marathons do you run a year Amo ? You must have ran the majours soon. Inga DK- ´
I probably can, I'm traveling for a marathon now until after the weekend, so I can check the footage I have when I get back. If you could send me an email after the weekend so I have your email address, I can try and get the file to you. Mine is info at runarnorun.com
"The miracle isn't that I finished. The miracle is that I had the courage to start." Congrats and good job.
Thank you.

Thanks. Glad it could make your treadmill run a bit more enjoyable. :-)
Congrats Arno, that looked like quite a tough push to finish through all that pain. Well done. Thank you for bringing us along for the run.

Great video. Respect for your performance and enjoy the beautiful medal you worked hard for!
Thank you so much 😀
Congrats on your run. And yes, huge difference between Chicago and New York when it comes to getting to the start.
Thanks, yes New York was a long journey. Now in Tokyo last week I stayed in a hotel across from the start again, that is just so much better.

Thank you so much. It took some practice and having to take my camera and gimbal with me on my training runs, but I'm used to carrying it now.

Thanks. Yeah, seeing C and Z there was a really great moment. New York was amazing, but could have done without the cramps in my legs. :-)
Awesome job Arno!!! It was a struggle out there, glad to see you pushed through. But how about that walk to get out of Central Park.
