Wow!!!! So fun to watch. I bet you were over the moon to see Kipchoge and the other elite runners in the flesh. That’s so cool. Congratulations on your marathon finish. Awesome video!
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it. Yeah it was really fun to see the elite runners running by, it was hard to tell at the time how much Kipchoge was behind, so I was still hoping he would catch up with them. I was actually staying in the same hotel as Kipchoge so I had seen him there briefly as he was rushed to a bus to go for a shake out run, but seeing him actually running the marathon was even better.
Congratulations! I'm happy for you! I will be running the Tokyo Marathon next year too, and it'll be my first marathon. I'm excited but at the same time very nervous about the cut-offs. I hope my training will work wonders! 😅
Hey Arno! It was great to meet you out on the course (and film Kipchoge alongside you). What a joy that was to see him out on the course. You did a great job filming the Tokyo Marathon experience. Fantastic work, and I’m glad you had a good time in the race. I hope to see you again in another race someday! Keep crushing it! 🏃♂️💪
Yeah, it was fun to actually meet you at a race. Watching Kipchoge run by at that speed with what looked to be an easy pace for him was just amazing. Too bad he didn't win the race, but still the performance of finishing in just over 2 hours is still an amazing achievement and he keeps doing that over and over again. Did you film this race for your channel? I see you haven't posted anything for a while now.
@@RunArnoRun I didn’t film the race for my channel. I actually haven’t filmed much recently. I need a new computer as my previous one no longer works. Once I get a new computer I’ll start filming and editing again. What’s your next race?
my next race is in the Netherlands, in Leiden. I signed up cause I want to try and BQ, but it now seems a bit close maybe. I don’t have that much time to train and my knee needs some recovery from Tokyo, so we’ll see. I’m also signed up for the Dopey challenge at Disney World, so really looking forward to that. It will have been 5 years since my last Disney run. Do you have any big races planned or any cool traveling?
Thank you so much, that is really great to hear. My legs feel a lot better now and I'm full on training for my next marathon already. Next one is in 5 weeks.......😁
Congratulations on another Marathon! I loved your race report on the Rise and Run podcast too. I am so glad you are filming these races, so I can enjoy them and don't have to run them ;-) You took away my concern about the stories that the bathrooms are supposed to be a kilometer of course.. Looks like it has clear signage and not far from the course at all!
😂😂😂 The signage was amazing, they would tell you when your next chance on a bathroom break was. There were a couple where you had to get quite a bit off the course to get to a dixie though I heard, but most times you could see them as you ran past, so not too bad at all.
Thank you. Every marathon is always a journey, but trying to complete these 6 majors really has something special to it. The hardest part of the journey is still to come though, Boston.
Excellent video. You were running yet the quality of the video is so good. I need to take inspiration from you and enjoy running. I am always chasing the time huffing and puffing! I was there but now I can see what it was like :( thank you for the video.
Awesome, there were a lot of people that had Tokyo as their final Major, this year a little over 2600 people. I'm hoping to soon make Boston my last major.
Wow! Congratulations! I’m definitely going to reference your video for my first major ever!. I’m manifesting Tokyo for next year!
Thanks. I hope you get in, it was an amazing experience being there and running the marathon.
Did you get in??

Congrats on completing another major. Great and inspiring video as always. Thanks for bringing us along for the run.

Congrats!!! One more star for the collection! Thanks for sharing this amazing race, I really want to try it someday! Hopping for the next lottery!
Thanks. Yes, it was a great marathon, they are all great, but Tokyo was special in it's own way.

Next marathon just look around a bit more. :-)
Great vlog. Thanks for sharing. Congrats 👏👏👏
Thank you so much, glad to hear you liked it.
very nice footage. what camera you use?
Thank you. I film with a GoPro Hero 10, but I also have it on a gimbal though, with the running the stability is better with a gimbal.
FIRST! On my list and will be my final Major.....

@@RunArnoRun thats a lot! Well done on your run!
Is it true that Tokyo Marathon doesn't start in waves just like London?
You are a completer not a competer...... Congrateltulation Amo. Inga DK
Thank you so much.
