Hello Friend !!!! Here in my company's electrical workshop in Brazil we have an OMROM NX1P2 PLC. I'm using a network adapter because the notebook doesn't have an RJ 45 input, but USB. I can't find the CLP IP. My question? Does the USB/RJ 45 adapter "disrupt" IP identification? hugs and have a great week!!!!!
if you are using a USB adapter, which is different than using a PC in-built Network card if you can't find its IP address from Omron Comms utility, you can try using Wireshark software to do it, which will be similar to Omron's utility, but the advantage of Wireshark, you will be able to monitor the USB adapter network card specifically. Hi Yang Qiu, can you share the Omron communication utility download link. Thanks.
Does the OMRON Middleware utility work with NON-OMRON PLC?
Thank you for your help
No, it is only designed for detecting Omron PLC IP address.
for non-Omron PLC, you can download free software: Wireshark to detect IP address, Wireshark works for everything.
