    Bought this very guitar second hand... A bit scratched and worn, classical build and resonance, but the sound is captivating. As Grant says at 2:10, warm and pleasant yet not so complex in resonance as to be praised.

      I#ll get it tomorrow. I testest so many guitars, the 5p is outstanding for it's price and the sound is purely satisfying. I will lower the action.

      Hi there! There are many models of Alhambra with narrower and less bulky necks. The Crossover models are specifically for steel string players moving over to classical and they have considerably less bulk plus a radius board.
      BUT for shorter fingers you should also consider the 636mm Shorter scale Señorita models as they are noticeably easier to play.
      This is a big topic that can’t be answered in a couple sentences…best to email me at the shop for more details: sales@12fret.com
      Look forward to hearing from you.

    Do these guitars have a truss rod?

    • @davidgolfgti1
      @davidgolfgti1 3 роки тому +2

      No but to my knowledge this specific model has an ebony strip embedded in the neck that helps keep the neck strait as time progresses.

      Nope, no need for, I had a 3F for 12 years and it got better with the years I sold it because I no longer played Flamenco, but it was perfectly intonated, with really low action and even with playing it fiers no string buzzing.

      @@naegleriafowleri2230 Hello, there is not what supposed to be, you can sometimes play slowly sometimes fast. Music is expression, if you always follow strict rules the playing will not be so fun. But I agree, if you wanna play this how it originally played then yes slower, but nothing wrong if you wanna play faster.

    It has a weak sound and it seems that the fingerboard is not comfortable because you play the chords very quickly

    I like Alhambras better than Cordobas. Not as buzzy

    Good projection and sustain for a guitar at this price range. I just cannot stand the logo on the headstock. Looks cheap. This is a classical guitar, not a steel string acoustic. Wondering who was the "genius" at Alhambra who came up with this idea. None of the top makers or luthiers put logos on their headstocks. Purists don't like logos on a classical guitar. It's disappointing. Thanks for the video though...

      I agree...I bought my 5P back in 2000 (could be a '99 model), and back then they didn't have the 'A' logo on it...looks very nice! It also has a nicer looking rosette than the newer ones in my opinion. I agree it does cheapen the looks of it with the logo.
