I painted my 2008 Honda Civic for for 75 dollars !!! No more clear coat issues !
Lest try sprucing up this old Honda Civic. This is my 500 dollar Civic also known as the Turd Civic. The car has 428 thousand kilometers but is a good running and driving car.
Let's sand off this old clearcoat and roll on some Tremclad.
And, I am going to use a roller !!!

Obviously the Tremclad paint won't last as long as a good urethane automotive paint. But, my gosh, you could probably wet sand and clear coat that car and fool most people into thinking it was a spray job. My son has a 2006 Civic which also won't die and it is SO cheap to fix and maintain. Maybe I can convince him to do something like this too :). Nicely done!

Well, that is a super job. Gotta little Mario Cart thing going on there. It does look good. Give it a week to cure. I bet a good buffing with a Princess Auto buffer and you'll be surprised even orange peel will shine like a mirror without clearcoat.
