My fellow ELVIS friend you are absolutely right we the fans that pay for these releases over and over and over again deserves the best deserves not careless mistakes is simply careless from the writing from the songs we deserve better content. Elvis deserves the best content out for us & new fans for his legacy should be no carelessness…..

Hi Sean. Amazing how much stuff has been released from the '68 Special. If you go to Keith Flynn's website, you'll see all versions of A Little Less Conversation were recorded on March 7, 1968, along with other songs from Live a Little, Love a Little. On the same webpage, there is a note explaining that when the March 7 session tapes were found, it became clear that the song was never recorded for the Special.
Hi David, thanks for that, good to know someone has been able to clarify, although to my ears, the vocal still sounds as though it was from a different session
I notice on the session video on UA-cam there is a take labelled "Steve Binder Repaired Mono Acetate". This suggests it was considered for the special, even if it wasn't re-recorded.

Another good video, I have most of the same except the 50th anniversary box I thought it was a bit pricey at the time. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks Juan, you're welcome 👍🏻 yes the set was/is pricey, but I was quite lucky and manged to pick mine up for just £50 from the UK fan club shop, just as they were selling up what bits and pieces they still had in stock
I agree with your comments regarding the vocals on Little Less Conversation. It does not sound like the soundtrack recording from Live a Little Love A Little. The first time I heard the 68 Special version of it on the Memories CD I said if they loop this into an extended version they would have hit record.
Glad to hear it's not just me who thinks the vocals don't sound as though they were recorded during the LALLAL sessions! And you might just have been on to something with that idea of yours 😉

Also makes you wonder what they will do for the 69th anniversary? But also taking into account I wonder what they will do for Elvis 50th anniversary of his passing??

Cheers Paul, you'd hope they'll do something special for both of those, but we've been disappointed plenty of times before haven't we? My wife and I went to Memphis for the 25th anniversary and we said at the time we'd go back for the 50th, but I'm not sure whether we'll make it now, as everything is so much more expensive compared to then. It means a lot to me that you look forward to my videos, thanks for supporting me 👍🏻 and work always manages to get in the way somehow 🤣
There is also the rare A Little More Conversation version (take 1) 😆 I wonder of they intended to include Working on the Building for the gospel part, if not, why was it filmed on a "building site"?

From memory, I don't think they did include the relevant component parts of "It Hurts Me" on the deluxe DVD set. They were, however, included as an easter egg on the single disc edition.
Oh yes, I'd completely forgotten that they put outtakes as Easter eggs on the single disc version, but it's also in the main feature too
@@sincerelyelvispresley That particular pick-up section [of "It Hurts Me"] isn't. They overlooked them completely for the so-called deluxe edition. And to repeat the same mistakes for the woeful Blu-ray edition is just unforgivable. Ernst Jorgensen was credited as being the "Blu-ray consultant". Compared to other legacy artists, the sloppines in Elvis product is quite staggering.
