This is fascinating! I have always wanted to visit Thailand. Was feeling terribly anxious when you guys didn't have your passports :O Nice big room! Thai architecture is like nothing else on Earth. Just beautiful! All of the art is amazing, between the carving and the paintings. Can't wait to see what's next guys!
We love Thailand! Its worth a visit if you ever get a chance, there's so many things to see and do. Haha we were also a little worried about the passports, but everthing always works out :) We're currently in Sri Lanka and will be releasing more vlogs shortly!
The painting scene on the wall you're talking about (@ 11 : 20 onward) is depicting one of the incidents in the life time of the Buddha. At that time he hadn't gained enlightenment yet, he was one of the ascetics who took to so variously rigorous self mortifications such as fasting in order to find the way to gain enlightenment that it made him look like a skeleton. He had very often fainted and nearly dead several times until one of the deities realizing that he would die in vain had he still gone on torturing himself, came and played the musical instrument hinting that if the string is to tight it could be broken, if it's too loosen it couldn't produce any beautiful sound, but if it's ajusted to a middle tone it could produce the very sweet sound. Likewise every thing in our lives if it's too rigit or too serious, it can be jeopadized.
Another fab video guys! I loved it :D Thanks for sharing all your links! Also can we be really cheeky and ask about your Air BNB link. Is that the invite a friend section, on Air BNB? (You can soooo tell we are newbies) haha. It looks like you guys had a great time. Gutted about the coffee shop! Hope the roads weren't too bad!
