@@brokenrecord3523 To me they are both and a quick question how many knives etc have you made. I worked with a guy many years ago that did the most amazing metal carving etc all by eye he had done the same thing hundred's of times and i can tell you it takes skill that most do not have.
I greatly respect these hard working people. It’s sad that they are hard working in such conditions….safety is really non existent….if they become injured, then I guess it’s too bad so sad and they become beggars squatted on the street. This is what certain people call “the good ol days” of which we are headed towards if we allow it here in America.
Tip of my hat for these skilled workers, but for 150 years these knifes were made in factories with modern tools. Technologies assisted by automatic machines are preferable.
Amazing on what people consider quality.... At best these are thrown into the bottom of a tool box in hopes it will function when all other opinions are out...
As a professional bladesmith and blacksmith I'm telling you all these "knives" are garbage. Buy legitimate handcrafted knives from an actual bladesmith. Or don't but you get what you pay for.
They could do all that with machines but this way the factory employs a lot of people, which is good to see. And it's a high quality product, from the looks of it.
