so this character's deal (as paradoxical as it sounds) is a villain who wants the heroes to win
imagine a really bad storm and you can't leave your house because of how dangerous it is but eventually you hear the birds singing and light peaking out from behind your curtains that sense of relief and positivity. happy chaos' whole goal is to send out bad shit for humanity to deal with and overcome

He wants drama, the heros winning allows existence to continue allowing more drama
he doesnt care what happens so long as he can enjoy the show
He says it himself he doesn't care about wealth power or exploring what makes the universe drama is the only thing he cares about and in a way he actually won
@@mohabalserafe3795 In a sense he is indeed a protagonist. In a Nietzschean sense his antagonism gives the heroes purpose and so life goes on.
It's more like he wants humanity to be happy. But he also thinks human can't be truly happy if they don't struggle or overcame hardship.

This reaction is entirely deserved. I wanted the final song out of this first group of three to be a real oddball song that has great potential to either be one of people's favorites or at least show how unique the Guilty Gear soundtrack can be.
Seems like this time it was the latter, but hey, there's plenty of others and I think I understand what you two like a little more now and might be able to select a couple of tracks that better suit your tastes.
Also yes I'm glad you both caught on to the literal "Happy Chaos" of this theme! More Strive songs have been requested!
Happy Chaos is a person who brought magic to the world.
At one point he went stir crazy, despite that he still was putting humanity first. He decided to become the world's villain to allow humanity to gather against a common threat.
The theme Drift is chaos and crazy. Which fits the character quite well.
The song lyrics in OST are heavily related to characters and if you do not know the story you might not catch things.
I would recommend:
Helfire - Leo's Whitefang theeme.
Armor Clad Faith - Potemkin's themes
Alone Infection - Faust's theme.
That's also why Happy Chaos decided to help I-no, because it would've made humanity to reach their full potential, the infinite potential the end of which was supposed to be unreachable
@@maxmanchik I think it was more because 1) he kinda owned I-No one, with him taking half of her power and giving her magic clinical depression, and 2) trying to make simebody a god will stir up shit. I don't think he wanted I-No to succeed, because that would have meant humanity never having to struggle again, what means no more room for improvement, and no more drama.

thats a thing about guilty gear music. each character's song is unique and differs from each other, so everyone has different favourite song

yeah. this one's is definitely a weird one. i get into a part of the song and it takes me away quickly. Definitely an oddball song, but i cant say i dislike it... just probably wont be on a playlist so whatever that means...
