The Ralph Lauren probably cost more money to make than a steel daytona and the Chopard LUC is finished to a higher standard than most entry level JLCs, great purchases on the used market doc.

Who TF buys Chopard, Concord, Corum, Baume Mercier brands that are so soft they make Panerai look blue chip.
Baume&Mercier isn't soft, after six years of wearing my capeland chronograph I sold it for quite good cash. The model was very classy and good looking, miraculous bracelet, quality crocodile strap. I lost a bit of money but not so much. And the watch provided me lots of pleasant time and some nice compliments and looks.
The Chopard and Ralph Lauren are elegant watches. If you an afford them, why not?

They are more affordable than the Lange alright, but they're not a cheaper iteration of it, just an alternative, and an incredibly good one at that!
