I have always loved the line of watches in the stirrup collection. But I've never been tempted to buy one as although Ralph Lauren is a watch enthusiast and man of style, he doesn't wear his brand watches. He spoke more fondly of Cartier watches in the 2015 Hodinkee interview so I'd rather buy that.
Maru-chan's choice reminds me of the limited edition BrunoMagli Valentina Romana watches, the dials are very much alike. I owned one and she was a definite beauty.
I can understand your choice of the RL 867 Maru-Chan, but I think that a Cartier Tank or a Jaeger le Coultre Reverso would suit you better...
We have a discount store (T K Max) in the town centre and you can often buy Ralph Lauren clothes there. So this brand is not so special...
