Chur Matua. Just binging this series while deciding what tā moko is next. Good to hear you articulate everything beautifully bro.

Ngā mihi e hoa, appreciate your tautoko! Reflecting on your comment, when selecting my next tāmoko I refer back to what my uncle says. Think of your moko as armour in terms of the placement. I try to make it as level / even as possible so I’m not too heavy on one side if that makes sense.
Appreciate it e hoa! Good luck for your next piece!

Mean video bro 🙌🏽 just wondering what the range for budget would be like? Planning to get mine soon but just a bit unclear about the cost/koha atm. Shot bro

Kia ora bro, apologies for the late response to your pātai. My situation is a bit unique as my kaitā is my uncle so he charged me at a whānau rate. But you would be looking at anywhere between the $3-$9k mark depending on who is doing it. I would just have a kōrero with them and ask straight up what their pricing is. Also ask for any other expenses (e.g., if they need to travel to you or vice versa if you need to consider any additional $ to travel to them). If you also have an idea on what you're wanting, rough sizing etc that would help give them an indication on the piece itself.
Hope that helps bro! Mean as you're getting it done. Let me know how you go! 😃

Tēnā koe, thank you for clarifying. That's my mistake as we commonly know him more as 'Uncle Poob'. 😁
