I know Holland America generally caters to an older age group, but while I'm only 21, I think I would prefer to go on a cruise like this than the typical Carnival/Royal Caribbean/Norwegian experience. I like how the focus is on where you're going and what you're seeing rather than making the ship into a floating theme park. I also really like the idea of the different music venues. I think I would enjoy them all.
For me and my wife (Taylor speaking) we love Oceania exactly for that reason. We enjoy classical music, and a more laid back feel. String quartets, great jazz, and a great coffee shop on all of the Oceania ships make it our happy place.
Ya lol im close in age and thinking I might really like this, I love royal when with the whole family because it has something for everyone but might go on something like this when it’s only me and my husband in the future
Very nice overview of the Eurodam. Wife and I spent four days on that very ship a couple of years ago. Even though it was a short trip, it was one of the nicest, most relaxing vacations I ever had. The staff were all very professional and courteous. The food was amazing. Best steak I've ever had in my life was in the Tamarind Restaurant. I think we spent at least two hours a day in the Greenhouse spa, lounging in the steam bath and the hydropool.
You did a great job of describing Lincoln Center Stage. What an amazing entertainment venue. The musicians are outstanding, acoustics are great and it makes for a wonderful, relaxing interlude several times a day!
Whenever I'm not sure how to pronounce a cruise ship name I come here. I know Eurodam can't be pronounced that many ways but I still like to check! So thanks! ;D
Thanks to Danny's videos, I'm booked in 2022 for my first cruise ever - on the Eurodam, in an aft Neptune suite with the wraparound deck!! It's a long time to wait, and I have a feeling by the time I see the ship for the first time I'll have seen this video *several* more times. I've loved the information presented and the way it's been presented in all of Danny's videos. Thank you so much, Harr Travel. Some day I'll have the time off for a long trip, and I'll definitely give you a call!
wow i love the multi-use sports court! when i was on the harmony of the seas the basketball court was good but the balls were old and there was only a few of them. these basketballs look good and very fun to play with!
Mid '61 crossed the Atlantic on the S.S. United States...I was 4 & 1/2 yrs old. Due to a screw up, my brother & I got a cabin fore & our parents were aft. Story goes, I was sick for the first day & a half...a holey terror for the next 3 & a half...dang that was a fast ship, shame what's become of it. Anyway, when I'm ready for my "last-best" cruise, I'll holler. Thanks for the all of your information.
I never been on a Holland American cruise it does have that classic beauty of older ships you did another great tour most of my cruises have been on Carnival i been on a few Norwegian.... I will have to book the Eurodam and try it out... And I decided to subscribe to your videos
if you book say a Spa Veranda room, do you get to use all the Spa features such as : Hydro therapy pools, the heated rock lounge chair, steam rooms, thermal suite area ?
Hola Larry, I have been watching your tours of the cruise ships and i even enjoyed watching them. And Larry after the covid is over when you and your family members will go on your next cruise i am just wondering if you and your camera man could video blog behind the scenes with a group tour or a family friends tour. Way back in 2003 there was seven of us that went on a cruise to st keys.
Hello Danny i enjoyed your video blogs! After the covid is over when you and your family will plan go on your next cruise. I am wondering if you could video blog behind the scenes of the cruise ship that you are on.
Danny, this is great. I've seen your Royal Carrieban, Norweigan, and Disney cruise reviews. But I am cruising on Carnival August 30th for my first time, by any chance, do you do have anything for Carnival?
It is a similar ship structure. I referenced it in the dining room, but you definitely see similarities of Carnival, Costa, and Cunard ships of the same era.
s a b a d o/Theswitcher27 ... I wonder if there’s a way to tie his hands? I’m seasick from his hands failing about. 😫. ❤️his knowledge and presentations but those hands 🙄

As a person who talks with their hands I'm feeling a little defensive here! :) It's some genetic throwback for me; my sisters constantly made fun of me growing up for how constant (and unconscious) my hand gestures were. Looks normal to me! :)

HAL is the best…. Quiet. Classy. Few kids. Old school cruising. Nice size ships. You should try it.

This ship doesn't have the Rock music venue so if you want that just step up to Pinnacle class of ship.
@@lynneb6880 Good to know. Thank you so much. I hope you have a beautiful day! :-)
I have a weird hobby of watching cruise ship tours on UA-cam (one day...one day I’ll go:))This is the best one I have ever seen!
Not weird at all. Thanks for watching with us!!
I second the emotion 👍 😁 🥳
I have the same addiction 😩 these videos got me thru the quarantine alive
Danny is the best at basketball
😂😂😂 correct 🏆
Great tour. Really highlights how Holland's embrace of its nautical traditions makes it so special.
Good Grief No Race track No Zip Line No Rock wall Climbing No Water Chutes A real contrast to the Royal Caribbean ship tours
A real contrast for sure. A very different experience, but awesome!
My husband and in laws and I are cruising on the Eurodam next month and I’m so excited, these videos just made me more excited! Haha
Dang it i love these tours!
Dang it, thanks for watching...
Great video. I’m sailing on my first HAL ship this spring on the Eurodam this spring. I’m beyond excited.

Danny's favorite suite! We are happy to help anytime.
I sailed on the Eurodam back in 2014. I thought the ship was elegant and I was happy that it didn't have waterslides and such things!
WOW! I had NO idea HA had such gorgeous ships, and the refurb on this one is incredible!
Right?! Holland has great options for longer cruises.
Love this ship!
Just watched this again as I’m on this ship next month! Great job.
Great ship tour! I've yet to sail on Holland America cruise ships, this would be a great one to start sailing on. Thanks for another great video.
No problem, thanks for watching!
I like the Nieuw Statendam more, but both cruises we've had on it and the Eurodam were amazing.
Newer is better for sure in many cases. We were supposed to be on the Konigsdam this week and Nieuw Statendam in a few more.
Looks too awesome, now I want to travel with this Ship also...
I want to do all of them!!!
11:17. I cruised on the Zuiderdam a few years ago and the Dive In poolside food venue was truly a surprise at how good it was. Try it!
Excellent presentation Danny! Truly your expertise comes through. Keep up the good work 👍🏻
Thank you for watching and for your comment. We love sharing cruising with you! Let us know when you are ready for your next adventure.

Ready for cruising to begin
Yes, when there is a vaccine!
We are ready as well!
I think cruising will happen considerably earlier than that.
Harr Travel I’m ready

Give it a try. I know you will love it! There is a perfect cruise experience for everyone out there.
A great tour! Thank you.
Oh yass!!
👍🏼
Excellent! Thanks Danny!
Happy to be of help.
Planning on a second cruise abroad this vessel, 1st was in 2014. Thankyou for this excellent tour🌞!
Hope you enjoy it! Let us know when you are ready to book!
Have a Eurodam cruise scheduled for November 2021. Hope we’ll be able to go.
We hope so too!
Thank you 😊
Can you do a video of the Eurodam from wheelchair access to all areas?
Great job!
Thank you for watching and for the comment.
good job DANNY
Thanks! It was a blast making it and we are happy you enjoyed it.
@@HarrTravel yehh
nice sunglasses!
Thanks. Mine broke and they are borrowed.
Very informative! Thank you.
Thank you!
Great video!
Glad you enjoyed it
How many Eurodam ships are there? We booked a trip to Alaska out of Seattle for 2024. Does Eurodam go to Alaska from San Diego?
Are you able to sit in any of the bars if you don't drink any of their drinks?
Which one would you choose?
Relocation cruise or other long term cruise
It really depends on the itinerary and where I am looking to go. Usually relocation is a better pricing choice.
I'm a cruise virgin so badly want to go on one! The hard part is getting someone to agree to go with me
Go solo and meet new people to cruise with for a lifetime!
Thank you.
You're welcome 👍🏼
Nice ship
It's a really fun ship!

Agree 😎
Is the world stage wheelchair accessible
Do they still offer daily mass for the Catholics?

We do as much behind the scenes as the cruise line will let us.
Danny, this is great. I've seen your Royal Carrieban, Norweigan, and Disney cruise reviews. But I am cruising on Carnival August 30th for my first time, by any chance, do you do have anything for Carnival?
Nothing filmed or planned for Carnival, but once we finish the other cruise lines will probably add some Carnival in there.
Is it just me, or does this ship look alot like the MS Queen Victoria?
It is a similar ship structure. I referenced it in the dining room, but you definitely see similarities of Carnival, Costa, and Cunard ships of the same era.
@@HarrTravel yea thought it looked similar!

He doesn't talk well without his hands. It's not likely all the time he has spent on Italy.
Harr Travel ... trust me I know all about the hands. My late husband was Siciliano. The mouth opens and the hands move simultaneously! Bhahaha 😂😂😂
Only thing missing were the staterooms
We have all of those on the channel, check them out!
Second!
🏆
Holland America nieuwstatendam
That is another ship for sure.
does this cruise ship cater to the european market or the american market
That depends on what you value. That being said the majority of passengers are from the US.
Dan your website is not friendly
Is that a brother from Prince Charles of the UK? ;-)
Who knows...
The one who had to pony up £12M ?
sad that cruising is done.
If you only knew how incorrect you are... It's okay, we will wave to you from our ship as we sail by.
@@HarrTravel "we will be back" you about 6 months ago. Clown.
No need for name calling, hopefully you can join us in a ship too someday.
@@HarrTravel Sorry. I am just absolutely disgusted by the behavior of the cdc and the cruise lines refusal to stand up to this.
Elemis
yes indeed...
I really do not understand this cruise line, Their ships are so boring and out of style. Why people would choose this line
It is a more classic line, for sure
LOL
Way too much useless detail
