The Russo's would be a great hire for the next set of Avengers films. But they need Markus and McFeely who wrote the heart and soul of Infinity War and Endgame.
They are a full creative team & they are included to write it. I said this as soon as the Avengers films were announced, seems obvious to me they need these guys to do it & it was the one thing they wanted to come back to do!
I just watched the movie myself. It was everything you could expect. The cameos were perfect. As a child of the 90s, I saw many scenes that delighted my inner child. Because of this movie, I can look forward to watching Marvel movies again. Well done

I think that it’s past time for the multiverse approach to end, so that they can get back to linear storytelling, which makes it infinitely easier to world-build. We’re really 4 years into the multiverse attempt, and the concept now feels exhausted.
Too convoluted for my taste. Even Doctor Strange comics don’t indulge that. Other dimensions were just like other countries. There is no Doctor Strange of the Dark dimension

I am glad they are less raunchy in this one. I think Deadpool 1 and 2 were being played a little too Van Wildery. Deadpool makes the occasional raunchy joke in the comics, but it doesn't define his character. Most of the best jokes in 1 and 2 had nothing to do with sex - they were the deep cuts ("McAvoy or Stuart" joke had me rolling).

D&W is a fun movie, I was constantly laughing while watching this. There's also heart-felt moments. Maybe my only concern here is there some element in the plot that is not consistent to the whole MCU rules about multiverse was portrayed here wrong for convivence of the MCs . But ignoring that, it's a great movie.

I saw the movie a few hours ago and my initial thoughts during and after watching the movie I really loved it and thought it was perfect. After a few hours of thinking I belive that it's definitely good and the cameos and humor carried but the story was just mid. And the villians were forgettable too.
Most kids are desensitized to violence... Through the playing of videogames. Mortal Kombat for instance is graphic as hell... But many kids play. While sex is something that they really shouldn't be exploring at all.
I find it funny how the characters we thought were going to be in it when the movie was first announced were correct, and not the ones we were speculating days before the movie. It seems like it's less cameos and more charecters. They actually serve a purpose instead of just 5 minute cameos!
Have watched it since I live in Indonesia. The cameos are crazy. The story it self is pretty good up to the one before the final act. But then the final act doesn’t feel that good. If you enjoy your references then this movie is gonna be 8/10 or 9/10. If you only care about the story then probably 6/10 to 7/10. If you only care about why the f the final act isn’t that good then it’s probably be 5/10 or 6/10. I’d say it’s a nice send off to 20th Century Fox era even if they jab them very often but they also jab the current MCU in this movie.

With all the cameos it kind of felt like Spiderman: No Way Home, a lot of fan service, what I liked. But I also realised that this whole Multiverse thing is the the wrong direction: Characters feel just too interchangable. It isn't a good outlook for the MCU.
I think that this movie is so much better as being small, self contained, and not completely intertwined with Loki and other Marvel properties. It stands on its own perfectly.

I brought my 12 year old son to this and he loved every second. The jokes they don’t understand go over their heads and the ones they do he laughed real hard.
I never did knew Marvel was dying, it never left. And while this movie as amazing as it was isnt the means to fix any other future Marvel movies in the future, i mean hell before Disney bought the rights to Marvel other Marvel movies before then were slumps as well. CGI Wolverine and CGI Deadpool look poorly pasted in multiple times while the camera focuses on them.

To be fair, Deadpool made a number of lewd jokes thats quite extreme

PG 13 is already full of violence to brim. Its just the blood isn't shown as much.

Just saw it in australia! truly blew me away with who they got to... remember it ;)
I think that this movie is so much better as being small, self contained, and not completely intertwined with Loki and other Marvel properties. It stands on its own perfectly.
I love that deadpool is a small scaled story but it is astronomically better than universal level story ( like MOM and marvels )
Yes I agree it felt a little detached from the first two movies. And it felt a little rushed. I would say this movie was a whimsical story filled with meaningless interjections like huck Finn … that said, it was awesome
I'm just glad the film is a winner. It didn't need to be perfect; it just needed to be what it seemed to be in trailers. With that being said, I'm excited!
This movie is epic!!!!! This is a movie you can watch over and over, in my Beast mode voice!

The disrespect on the eternals is crazy.
I brought my 12 year old son to this and he loved every second. The jokes they don’t understand go over their heads and the ones they do he laughed real hard.
I never did knew Marvel was dying, it never left. And while this movie as amazing as it was isnt the means to fix any other future Marvel movies in the future, i mean hell before Disney bought the rights to Marvel other Marvel movies before then were slumps as well. Daredevil, Fantastic 4, Hulk and there wasnt note of a Marvel cinematic universe then. Im still looking foward to see more Marvel movies whether bad or good just as long it is entertaining to watch, I mean isnt that what us do anyway!
