  • Cardinal Insulated Glass units with Lo-E heat reflective coatings provide the most reliable insulation you can buy.
Insulated glass units with Lo-E coatings and filled with pure inert Argon gas limit the radiative and conductive loss of long-wave room-side heat energy through the window.
With Lo-E coating and Argon filling, the net result is a 104-percent performance improvement in winter night time R-value (which designates a window’s resistance to heat flow) compared to non-coated air-filled insulating glass.
Insulated glass units are made with aluminum frames which are sealed with silicone to prevent air and moisture penetration.
Two panes of glass are then fitted into the frames, put into a vacuum chamber and the space between the two panes of glass is filled with inert Argon gas.
The final step is a final application of silicone sealant around the window unit to give the top insulating glass window on the market.
Cardinal glass is a leading provider of insulated glass windows to Andersen Windows as well as window and door manufacturers around the world.
