What a beautiful example of a 1600 gt. ..back in the day i owed a mk1 gt in British racing green and a mk11 1600 gt four door in white (10yrs) still remember the registration RKK220G. You video took me back down memory lane..lol I've watched it 4 times
Fantastic to see such a good solid example in California. I have a '68 1600E series one. If you need spares try the owners club here in England, they have a fair few international members. Also if you want the chrome insert for your rear windscreen ' Burton Power' sell that, you buy a long strip and cut to length; it's not too expensive.
Nice looking car and goes well. I never realised that those models had opening quarter light windows on front doors. I had a 1970 1600E and definitely didn't open on that.
