The ultimate Vedic Chant, Ayam Puro Bhuva: from Krishna Yajur Veda - Taittireeya Samhita - 4th Kaanda, 3rd Prasna and 2nd Anuvaka, is rendered in the Ghana Patha form by Sri Balaji, Sri Raghu Ghanapatigal and Sri K. Suresh. We have been working on this Vedic Chant for almost one year. It is one of the longest verses in the Samhita Portion and contains a lot of long padaas or words. Listen with earphones for maximum immersion. About the Mantra: [1] These Mantras appear in 4th Kaanda, 3rd Prasna and 2nd Anuvaka of Krishna Yajur Veda - Taittireeya Samhita. [2] It is recited during all auspicious occasions, including the Yajna. These Mantras bestow one with wealth, honour, power, speech, knowledge, wisdom and expertise for our family members. "Meaning" of this Mantra explained: ua-cam.com/video/X1PKosGYWnk/v-deo.html **How to listen and enjoy this Vedic Chant:** [1] Assume you are sitting in a horse. While walking in a plain surface itself, the horse will make some movements in side ways. Those are hrasva and deerga letters. That is short and long syllables. When it goes in ups and downs surfaces by jumping, these are anudaatta and swarita swaras. That is grave and circumflex in english. When the horse is running on hard surfaces, the sound produced is different. Those are Maha praana letters. The stress on the akshara is high. [2] You start at low speed and accelerate after some time and finally lower the speed while reaching your destination. In the same way, this Ghana Patha vedic chant starts slowly and takes speed after that, and finally ends slowly. [3] I am sure the listener will enjoy the rendition as much as we did during our chanting. [4] You will smile while listening to the Ghana Patha form of chanting of this Mantra, because of its rhythm, tempo, pitch with clarity of pronunciation of each syllable along with its proper sandhi and swaras. "Meaning" of this Mantra: [1] This Agni, is the first and foremost in existence, the eastern horizon of the world. Its offspring is prana, vital energy, life-breath of existence. The offspring of prana is spring (Vasanta:). The song of spring is gayatri, joy. Joy is the music of spring from gayatri, the gayatra saman, soft and sweet. From gayatra, the upanshu, the receiver of soma, ladle for libation. And from the upanshu, creation of trivrit, the person dedicated to trivrit, threefold integrated Dharma of knowledge, action and prayer. From trivrit, the successful man, sociable, visionary and saviour. Woman of knowledge, virtue and love, blessed by Prajapati, lord of creation, alongwith you I receive the vital energy of prana for the sake of children and family. [2] On the right (south) is the spirit and power of the divine, Vishwakarma, like vayu; the wind the divine by which we accomplish every action and movement of the world. The offspring of Vishwakarma is the mind, desire and action. The offspring of mind is (Greeshma:) summer. Trishtup meter is the expression of summer. From trishtup is born swara-sama of heat and lustre as the mid-day. From swara comes the antaryama, the silent libation of soma with selfcontrol. From antaryama the fifteen-phase stoma is born (pancha-dasha-stoma), expression of joy and hilarity. From pancha-dasha stoma comes Brihat-saman, the great saman song of jubilation and celebration. The seer expert of Brihat-saman is Bharadwaja, man of knowledge and prosperity. Woman of knowledge, virtue and love, blessed by Prajapati, alongwith you I receive mana, mind, that is, love and desire for the sake of family and community. [3] In the west (on the back) this sun is the divine power that illuminates and covers the whole world with light. The offspring of the sun is the light and the vision of the eye. The product of light and heat is the rain. The joy of rain is expressed in the jagati verse. From the jagati metre the Rik-samans are composed. From the joy of Rik Samans, ‘shukra’, the lustre and vitality of life is born. From shukra is born the sapta-dasha (seventeen) stoma and the seventeen faculty subtle body. From this seventeen-element, living life is born the diversity of living forms, of which the seer and visionary expert is jamadagni, man of light and lustre. Woman of knowledge, virtue and love blest by Prajapati, along with you I receive light and vision for family and the people. [4] On the north is this spirit of bliss and joy. The instrument of joy is the ear, and (sharad) autumn, is the season for ear and music. The metre for autumn is anushtup. From the anushtup, the aida-saman is composed, which is the song of beauty and sweetness. From aida is the ‘manthi’, churner, who churns out hilarity and virility. From manthis comes the twenty-one part stoma which constitutes an integrated programme of twenty one branches of learning. From twenty one stoma comes vairaja saman, a body of knowledge, for which the seer Vishwamitra, friend of the whole world is the master. Woman of knowledge, virtue and love, blessed by Prajapati, alongwith you I receive the ear and the voice that gives me the songs of joy and virility for the sake of the family and the community. [5] The Upper side (above me) is the intelligence. From intelligence the speech is created. Speech goes with the season of ‘hemanta’, winter, and pankti is the metre for hemanta. Nidhanavat, the choric finale of a saman about hemanta, winter-song, is composed in pankti metre. From nidhanavat, the finale, is born the Aagrayana, first soma libation in agnishtoma yajna for the attainment of plenty of wealth and knowledge. From the Aagrayana, there are twelve and thirty three saman hymns of praise. From these twelve and thirty three, we have shaakvara and rewata, means to wealth, honour and power. The person who is an expert visionary of these hymns is a master of all arts and actions leading to wealth, power and honour. Woman of knowledge, virtue and love, blessed by Prajapati, alongwith you I receive the gift of speech (knowledge, wisdom and expertise) for the sake of my children, family and the community.

AEROPLANE TRAVEL Namaskaram. The two videos of The “ayam puro” vedic chant can be compared to a a air flight travel in an aeroplane. The First Video in which Sri Suresh gives description of the Ayam puro chant can be compared to a plane which is just entering the airport and passengers ready to board in to plane. The description which Sri Suresh gives about the chant is equal to The Captain of the plane welcoming passengers and briefing the nature of flight to passengers. Then Comes the second video which is the chanting of Ayam Puro. Now I compare this starting of chanting the “ayam puro” to a aeroplane engines that starts rotating slowly in runway. As the chant starts it is slow just like an aeroplane taxying the runway to get ready for takeoff, Now after a few minutes of taxying the runway, now strobes and landing lights are on. The plane (chanting) just increase a speed little bit. The plane (chanting) is now ready for takeoff with a slight increase in speed. Now the speed of plane (chanting) increases, landing gears are retracted and the plane (chanting) starts take off at a vertical speed. Slowly the pitch increases the aeroplane (Chanting) now reaches a height of 25000 feet, with plane moving in autopilot in high speed and smooth without any jerk. When we are flying at this cruising height, Now we remember the captain of the plane sri suresh about what he told before the plane takeoff. He told us that there are some beautiful places during the flight (chanting) when we will smile. Similarly when the plane was flying did it not make us smile when it reached the places like “Panthir Hi Manthi”? Ok now some time has passed. Now we are at the cruising altitude. Now we have to reach the earth. Now plane starts its descent to earth. Now the chanting slows down a bit. As the plane (chanting) wants to come to land, slowly the flaps are extended, Air speed reduced, and landing gear and brakes deployed. Likewise the Chanting slowly decreases in the speed. Slowly and smoothly we return to the earth safely. Now it is obvious that every one has enjoyed The Ultimate Journey led by Captain Sri Suresh Padhathi.
