One of things I love about 80's music are the long stretches of instrument solos, whether it's piano like this piece, saxophone, or guitar. Just pure great music that is fun to listen to and even greater to take on roadtrips.

When I listen to this, I feel like this is the song you would hear at the beginning of the end credits of a superhero movie that ended on a real bitter-sweet note.
Kind of reminds me of the Terminator theme, as well.
Avengers: Endgame ending with this would have been epic. I could see this playing as they battle Thanos together.

This version perfectly says, "You *are* the hero. You are strong, fresh from the fight, and larger than life." It's very heroic, like the main character is about to enter the fight of their life. Stepping up, *like a hero*

I do not know who started this music group. Truth be told, I don't care who started it. But I do know a couple things. 1) I love pretty much every cover that I've heard 2) I wish that I had discovered them sooner, or even that they existed while I was a kid (assuming that they weren't around) and 3) I have so many ideas for more songs!! :D Glad to be a witness to their great work.

How many of us hit like in less than a minute? :) BRAVO! And I do mean it- it has taken more than 35 years to come up with a GOOD cover of this song. I remember that this was on my first mix tape on a Walkman that ate batteries like they were M&Ms, and taking it for workouts and dog walks in the mid 80s. Guess what is going onto my phone, right next to the original.
I know this song isn't as well known but I think an epic version of "Rock Lobster" by the B52s would be so cool. It's got some great riffs and opportunities for string arrangements.
