Dragon Ball Evolution vs. The Last Airbender: The Ultimate Showdown of Bad Movies

Just add the 'No Krillin' to the "Krillin owned" count. They should stop making real-time adaptations of anime, excluding One Piece. Or they should stick to the source material. They take too many liberties when adapting anime. I mean, Goku going to school and having a crush on a girl is VERY out of character for him. I don't know if the writers even watched Dragon Ball. As for The Last Airbender: you can't crop so many episodes into Two hours and expect to tell the whole story, or give an inkling of character development. It was the best to see Sokka go from a zero that gets owned, to being a hero that gets owned. It was nice to see Kung Fu legend, Chow Yun-Fat, do what he can to try to redeem the movie, but no actor can save a horrible script - not even Anthony Hopkins or Tom Hanks can perform such miracles.

There is also one thing that Last Airbender has over Evolution.
While Noah Andrew Ringer dosent do good as Aang, he does at least look the part, evening having the bald head.
Justin Chatwin looks absolutely nothing like Goku.

At lest avatar is the same basic story, just retold terribly. Evolution is just one big WTF

DB by far. The only thing good about is Samuel L. Jackson as Piccolo. Avatar is the same story, just more low-budget bending scenes.

I’d actually argue The last airbender is far worse. Dragon Ball evolution is terrible, but in a much more funny way. Goku going to highschool, dealing with bullies, and trying to get the girl is literally the funniest thing in the world because it’s so not Dragon ball💀 the avatar movie is just a terrible recap of book one with nothing to really even laugh at. It’s just plain boring. It also does not understand basic screen play which DB evolution at least somewhat understands.
