- So today, it all started to hit for me. Heavy sadness for all those who’ve lost loved ones. Fear for my family members who are working in places where they’ve run out of masks and supplies. Uncertain as I’m suddenly unemployed. Though it’s a big hit, I’m so thankful that we will be ok. But I can’t say the same for so many crew members, musicians, truck/bus drivers, production companies, not to mention young artists who needed these tours to survive. And so many of you who will suffer great financial hardships because of this virus. I’m anxious about my kids and school - 2 students from the girls school just tested positive for COVID-19 today. With Gracie’s asthma and weak lungs, I want this nasty virus to stay far away. Not to mention just sadness for so many people who are quarantined alone and just feel so isolated and lonely. Today it was all overwhelming. And so I worshipped. Because His presence is our greatest weapon. And my worship opens up the heavens and is the pathway to his presence. The struggle is real, as are the facts. But our God is real and he is ALIVE - and worship reminds us that we are fighting from victory, not for victory. I hope this helps you remember that.

I look at all of the Christians in years past who have had to endure trials, tribulations, hardships, martyrdom, God carried them through and they glorified His Name, as they cried out to them. So beautiful! Yes indeed we fight from victory! The enemy wants us to get all fearful worried and focused on the problems! But as we enter into worship and His presence we are reminded that our trust is totally in Jesus ! In Him alone! Not our jobs talents that makes us money, not in government not in doctors not in medicine but all in the Person if Jesus! I believe God is allowing this to turn our hearts and lives to Him to snuggle up to Him and find rest for our weary soul! This worlds systems are not to be trusted in. They are broken and surely will fall ! But Gods word that we put our hope in will remain forever! Because this world is fading! That’s in the Bible!
