Just broke my door handle this morning, this video was such a great help, the detail you went into with how to get all the clips etc undone without damaging them was so valuable! Nice HQ in the background too 👌🏼 Thanks again mate
Thanks very much Geoff hope it helps you out. I’ve got a how too for wheel bearings and a handbrake up grade for the 100s as well. If any of them help you out please subscribe and give us a 👍
Excellent detail & walk through thanks. Mine just broke on the right side where it pivots & I've superglued it for now but ordered a $20 eBay job & this will be great in helping me replace it 👍
Cheers mate about the only thing is the plastic gasket that goes under your door handle to stop water going between the handles and the door are often out of shape and they are sort of a plastic not rubber. Just leave it in the sun to get hot sometimes I use a bit of superglue and stick it to the handle it will keep it in place while you put the handle in.
Great easy to follow tutorial One question - How do you remove the barrel? I need to get it out and re keyed to match the ignition key. Have recently purchased the vehicle and came with 2 keys, 1 for door and 1 for ignition.
From memory there are 2 10mm bolts that hold it in place and you may have to unclip a metal Rod that goes to the lock button. It’s been a long time since I have had one open but it is easy once you have a look in there 👍

Hey sorry Neil I only just seen the message from memory I think there is 1 small screw in the rear of the trim. Put the window down put your fingers in on the trim and roll it back it’s hard to start but I am sure roll it out and pull down to the outside of the door.
Thanks for watching Roberto. I can’t share the eBay list but if you look on eBay they will come straight up. There are even black ones if your going for that look on your cruiser they look good 👍
@kotasonamtenzin they do the job mate no way they are as good as genuine but you should get a few years out of them. I got at least 5yrs before I had to replace it again and I made this video
Thanks mate,
This was well presented and easy to follow your instructions.
Great work.
Awesome Pete I am glad it was some use to you. I am just about to release some new content over Christmas 👍
That was awesome mate. Easiest to follow tutorial I’ve watched without any parts missed. Thanks heaps legend.

How’s the eBay handle holding on ? Toyota is expensive
A genuine one from Toyota is but you can pick them up for about $25 on eBay
@@DustybootzOutdoors pretty sure eBay door handles are Chinese made. Are they any good ?
