Edit: Yo, ok, coming back after video 17, Susie's placeholder lake dialog changes the number of periods at the end mid-textbox, and when Kris picks Cell again, instead of giving options of who to call, it goes straight through to "Susie"...who begins to speak really cryptically and non-Susie-like. _Something_ is speaking through "Susie". No idea what... Although the tide DOES appear to be "swallowing the town" in the Roaring...
soul flicker is probably meant to look like a bug (choice marker left in dialogue by accident?) as for the Susie dialogue whoever wrote that probably was more interested on doing it thsn the unfinished dialogue

the "susie loves the ocean" part is just understood as supposed placeholder dialogue by Toby. It's only the dialogue AFTER that where it got weird.
Maybe loves is weird word, but maybe she would've said that sea is sick since sea monsters are cool.

Calling home doesn't work at the start of this video either. There's a quick error noise before the cursor moves to Call Susie.
