I have never commented on a You tube video but I had to with yours. EXCELLANT job explaining how to remove the cluster panel. The explanation was incredible to understand and the lighting was fantastic. GREAT job. I would like to see a video of actually replacing the steering wheel sensor. 2008 ford Taurus sel
Thank you. Just got a Taurus (2007) and the fuel readout changes whenever the check charging system light comes on. I was told that the cluster needed to be replaced. Also my battery drains if left connected overnight. Now I can do it myself. Great tutorial.
you can't beat video & i know techs are using it @ dealerships. this may compliment or replace printed books on repair & many other tasks. you do have chilton repair books available free online from the library.
So most of the blacklighting went out on my 2003 taurus' dash... my solution was cannibalizing the 12 volt socket plug from an fm transmitter accessory that I never used and then soldering together a set of 4 red LEDs that can be turned on for nighttime driving. Based in how much hell it takes to get to the dash components, I get the feeling I made the right choice.

I have 2000 mercury sable ls wagon. The trip odometer and mileage odometer stop spinning. Would know it's the plastic gears that broke or a fuse. I also need to know it's a bid deal
What is the exact length of the 7mm screws? I had dashboard cluster lights replaced by my mechanic and after a while, I noticed the dashboard was squeaky while driving. I noticed the two screws on top of the cluster was not reinstalled. I tried some screws around the house to install, but they're probably not the correct size.
There isn't a speedometer cable anymore it's all electronic it's one or a few of the wires in the wiring harness that he unplugged from the instrument cluster.
All gauges, speedometer and lights work on 2003 Mercury Sable gauge cluster, yet dealer says it is faulty and needs to be replaced. What would cause this problem other then gauge cluster itself?
I am not too good at this kind of work. All I know is that my car has over 180K miles, and the next owner will be the junkyard. So I just won't worry about how many miles it has; drive it till it dies, like I've done with all my other cars.

Can u replace a light bulb there I have 02 nd one of the bulb that is lighting up the fuel area is out

the screen that shows the mileage and stuff went out but the other lights are fine, what should i do?

Please help, i have the turns signals on solid and no other lights when the headlight switch is on. Is this a known problem with a fix?

If I use a the car far more than 5 miles is it possible to set set the 2 odometers to what ever miles it gt to.

I have a Canadian tauris that I have to pull the cluster to replace the lights. Can I just switch it with an American cluster?
I just need to replace the light bulbs behind the panels. I can't see how fast I am going at night

i hava a 96 sable. i lost wiper. p windows. Brake lights. Hazards. Dome.
i replaced the multi blinker switch.
