No matter how many times I watch this episode, I cry, not just at the loss of a great guitarist but at what could have happened, even for just a brief moment in rock & roll history had Vixen been able to hunt again.
It's interesting how the failed reformation in 2001 wasn't mentioned and also how Jan and Janet's meeting seemed much sweeter than some episodes. I missed my chance to see Vixen before Janet left and Share took a hiatus. To me it's not really the band until they come back.
I worked security on our college concert board and Vixen played with Eddie Money at the Stanley Theatre in Utica N.Y. I was front row back stage...😁👍 Great to see em all again! Had a crush on Jan she's still hot...😘💓
I loved watching this show back in college. I loved how Janet Gardner came on stage looking like a hot suburban mom, but still rocked like a queen of metal. Roxy Petrucci is my favorite. She is such a badass drummer. Rest in peace, Jan Kuehnemund. She seemed so humble and was such a badass guitarist. Share Ross looked totally punk rock and definitely had the punk rock attitude. They were all so cool.
I am genuinely surprised there was so much talk of adding another guitar player. The four of them clicked so well on stage even after being out of the business for so long. This was awesome to watch even in 2023.
A great band then, and STILL a great band in 2024. Extremely talented ladies who brought it live, and are still one of the best bands now. Criminally underrated.
I was first born in 89 , but i absolutely love 80s music, plus iam a huge vixen fan , have so much stuff , all their albums, on all formats, plus picture disc , 7 inch shaped vinyls, posters you name it! . Someone need to build that time machine !!!!!!
Man, i love the legendary Vixen story. It was a successful reunion, though it's been a long time ago, back in 2004. I. An 80s guy. These ladies are still gorgeously talented and aging gracefully. Very beautiful reunion and inwished and oray for everybody that they've patched up the pass and has moving on positively. Have a good life, ladies! God bless and big thanks to VH1.
I was at the Bands Reunited shoot! @42:41, the dude in the blue T-shirt, shot from the back. It was actually a gray t-shirt There’s more UA-cam footage of How Much Love from that shoot, and Share tossed a glitter bomb during the solo/bridge, and I took the brunt of it. I was digging glitter out of my ears for two days. I was the weirdo who never raised his arms. I was laid off from a job and I got a decent severance, so I decided to spend a week at a nice hotel in LA. I took a rental car to Las Vegas for a couple of nights, but the day of the shoot I got stuck in a bunch of traffic heading back to LA. I didn’t have time to head back to the room and shower. So at the shoot I made a point of never raising my arms. So I just looked weird. That was such a great time!
I bought Rev It Up when it came out and pretty much wore out the grooves on it by playing it over and over and over and over...bought all the singles as well, such a good album and still sounds good today! RIP Jan.

Coming from a musical family i was disappointed in myself because I never knew much of this band. However, listening with new ears as an older person they're amazing as a band; not a girl band but a band. Love the sound and the drummer Roxy was ripping up the skins. Sad to hear about the leads passing. They have very good chemistry. I was sock by that because she appears so healthy. I'm feeling fortunate to hear them play and resolve their issues. Maturity oftentimes helps in many cases.
I saw this when It first aired...I always liked VIxen...just wish they would have gotten their break earlier, 84-85...I think they would have really been a force. Just so sad watching it now with Jan being away.(RIP) Really Sad.
Excellent show - all reunited despite differences. I saw them supporting Deep Purple at Hammersmith. Pity they did not stay together longer in the beginning and produce more good music.

Sad how the interviewer kept trying so hard to force them to complain about misogyny, when the only reason they got a second look out of 1000's upon 1000's was due to being all female. That was a gimmick that investors loved, as it worked time and time again.

I love Roxy. GREAT ATTITUDE ❤
I miss this show
I wonder if those workers and bystanders at the cafe went home and looked up Vixen videos after seeing that.

Enjoy your youth ladies, because you wont always look like you're in your 20s and 30s.
great 😀😀😀😀😀😀😀
You had The Runaways, and then there was Vixen. ❤👍🤘
Funny, because I was in a signed band in the 90s and the founder of the band. They wanted to replace me even though I wrote everything.
Rest in peace Jan

Roxy seems really cool
rock in peace to Jan! sad

Dire Straits next?

How did she pass swat?
Hollywood isn't the capital of metal 😂
From which year is this episode?
Didn't they reunite a few years b4 this?
Very briefly and without Share Ross, I believe. Janet was replaced by Jenna Sanz-Aguero in that period.
Bring back Janet Gardner! 😢
Did they really need a guy to pose as a potential buyer for Roxy's house? Doesn't seem like that was a really a factor in anything.
Vixen vh1
They even playback the reunion lol
They were live in the reunion. Janet's vocals are obviously not perfectly in pitch and you can hear her catch her breath. They just sound good compared to fake banks you listen to.

Gardner fractured this band. It’s on her. She’s selfish in nature so no surprise.
I never cared for Vixen. Like many people, Vixen was just a female metal band that was all flash and glam but never amounted to much.

It was not dead in 88 🤷. I wasent even born when they played, but i absolutely love their music
