I've tried lots of flashlights but I always come back to my Olight S2R Baton 2 (called the Baton 3 Pro in newer versions). Tremendous battery life, all the modes (including moonlight, which I love), great UI, tail stands, magnet, and is more pocket friendly than it looks because of the great clip.

Yeah I have S1R Baton II and a multiple Baton 3s. They are the best small EDC lights imo. Only thing that sucks is the low CRI and not so good tint, but most people don't care about that stuff.

Great video, I now carry the T1 Pro Tac every day and love it, wish there was a really low mode to use whilst letting the cat out at night as the low is never low in its life, I carry the T1 in my pocket on the clip and the Rovy Von E8 on my keys, covers all lighting needs, 14500/AA for the win, with AA being the most availible battery in the world , i tend to lean towards them from a S.H.T.F perspective. The thow on the T1 is all anyone would need i.m.h.o. , You nailed this review , well done.

You talked me into this one. Seems good. I've been using it a couple days now. I really like it. Its welworth it! ;) Something that is really under appreciated here I think is how cool the end of it stays. I mean to say cool isn't correct it does get warm but for 5 mins or so of being on it was still comfortably touchable by me which is surprising because a lot of other high power lights that are small heat up extremely fast and you don't want to be tossing them in the ol pockets like that. Its always good as well to have the ability to momentarily shine the light without fully turning it on which I feel is being under appreciated here too which is crucial for a tac light.
The only negative I will say is that 4 half clicks to low mode is pretty annoying. its basically 4 half then 1 more for on unless you're going slow and counting each time. I think they could have done something better there.
And just a personal preference here...I would have rather had the 2 way pocket clip than a reversible one. Its so handy and the clip is long enough...there was no reason not to do it that way. Though I suppose clipping it to your hat or where ever isn't really a primary function of a tac light so I guess that can slide for me. Also the brown version is much darker than it looks in his video, at least in my case, its like FDE, which I like.

Arguably, a better AA sized light is the Emisar D3AA. With the Osram W1 emitters, it throws 325m and produces about 1400 lumens. It has one of the best drivers available on the market and it uses one of the best UI’s ever offered (Anduril 2). $40-$50.

Dissagree..e-switch flashlights are always an issue because they have to be in lockout which defeats the whole purpose of this kind of light. Does it have more versatility? Absolutely, Anduril 2.0 is sick. But the switch creates more issues. That being said I'll still pick one up to try!

The Lumintop GT Nano with 10180 is going to have about the same throw and total candela as the Weltool T1 Pro Tac with 14500. But the flashlight going to be much smaller, lighter and more pocketable while having less lumens. With the 10440, the GT Nano will be a little smaller than the Weltool, and have materially higher total candela and throw with about the same lumens.
The Weltool will have a more neutral light near 5K while the GT Nano will be much lower CRI at 6500 or so. For defensive purposes, lower CRI doesn't bother me if I am trying to get a rabid dog or an unfriendly person to look away. The Lumintop GT Nano has a side switch, and turbo is 2 clicks from off. So not the best defensive tactical set up. Makes up for it with its size, which means I carry it more often.

    • @maxlvledc

@charliekoiet2633 the issue is mode memory. It's not a tac flashlight if you can accidentally come in on low (when you need turbo) or conversely you need low but come in on the opposite. Honestly, I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around this one. If it was $30-$40 normal price it sounds decent enough, but in that price range it's competing with Skilhunt and high CRI. The M150 has high CRI and dual fuel.
BTW, ZeroAir and 1Lumen both measured this guy at 17k candela and just over 260 meters, putting it as the same throw as the Warrior. Not to mention the much bigger battery life and dual switches on the Warrior. Granted, Olight shot themselves in the leg by backing off on sales, but compare this to a Warrior on sale and I think it becomes a very different story.

An LEP light has better candela…in the hundreds of thousands (specs) than this light…however candela is about intensity at distance. That stat doesn’t adequately explain circumstances to use it. Just as overemphasizing lumens, overemphasizing candela is one stat some flashlights such as this one excel at…but it’s terrible for CQ applications. A flood light such as the Acebeam H16 excels at more so than the Wetool T1. It’s the application that determines the light. For tactical purposes, this light is very good and I’d even qualify that more by saying it’s not as good for LE. I have this light.
The Weltool T1 is great for military tactical applications because the military keeps things at distance.
For LE (I was in LE for five years), you have to think CQ… within a home, hallways, buildings, cars, etc and this light’s hotspot is blinding up close as was stated toward the end of this video.
I carry the H16 often and find candela in the 5,000 range with over 1,000 lumen and magnetic tailcap to be the ideal pocket carry. This light is not an EDC carry. It’s purely tactical and it excels in that application.
