- These were OK shells... they sounded really nice, broke pretty nice, had a lot of crackle (which you know I love) but there where a lot of effects that were the same, and they didn't stand out much. HOWEVER, for what I paid for them, they make a great filler shell, or to send up in the finale nice and fast I think!

I am going to use the rest of these for finale shells running in an angled rack with 2 sec a foot fuse and drop all three rows at the same time... They are decent shells and match really well but the effects to me are just kinda generic and a good amount of them look the same. They work, but there are better shells out there.

What do you recommend for me? I’m looking to spend a few thousand. I’m driving from 4 hours away so I rather get them all at once. Thanks! Is red apple better than alien?
@@joemomma707 so you are shopping in the Nevada area? Personally, I am done with Red Apple.. Their house brands are OK if you get a really good deal, but those have seemed to go away... When I was out Area 51 Wholesale had some really good deals, and a lot of stuff I wanted to try... And the World Class Pure Pyro canister shells have some INSANE color on them! Also, Outlaw Pyro has some AWESOME case deals, and I would DEF stop by there!!

@@denfireworks thank you. Im actually driving 3.15 hrs to Nevada for fireworks. Closest area to me that sells real fireworks. Im thinking of heading out right now. It’s 11:22pm. Red Apple is open 24 hrs at the moment. Area 51 closed at 2:00am so there is Noway I’m getting there on time. I will try Area 51 and outlaw pyrotechnics if I don’t head out right now. At the end of the day, I’m saving big money even at red apple because people here will charge an insane amount since we don’t get those fireworks here. I’m looking to put on a big show. How can I buy those holders that allow you to set off multiple single shots? What would be your best recommend fireworks from red apple? Looking to get a couple finale cakes, big boom single shots, nice fireworks. Not interested in anything small.

I just found some highly illegal titanium single shot salutes. Purchased 45 of them at $3.00 dollars a pop. 😁👍💥

They hit great!! Lots of great crackle too! but IDK a lot of the shells looked so similar.. I personally would prefer Hammer of Thunders that I can get a little cheaper wholesale than I can these one a really good sale. I would still get them again at the super cheap price but it would depend on the other options I had...

Is it me but it seems like the sound on here has gotten even better? Everyone knows its almost impossible to get the same sound you hear in person on a microphone but it sounds like you're trying!!!! Nice work sir
I tested out a couple new microphones on the Memorial day shoot... And I tried out a couple more on Fridays shoot too (I have had NO time to work on editing yet, just got drone audio synched so far)... I am trying to get a more realistic sound experience for everyone... Trying!! I still want to do a few more tweaks... Just man the A/V gear eats into the fuse budget!!!
So the answer is I'm awesome and I have a great ear that's what my choir teacher Miss cavanaugh used to say 😊😆😁
This is the one shell kit I have not tried from RA and yes I agree they are pretty generic. I am going to stick with geisha and bobas shells when I order from RA. Nice demo and great meeting up yesterday maybe in the future we can get together and send some stuff up.
Geisha's all day every day!! These, meh... kinda plain and the same... Hammer of Thunders I don't have to wait to go on sale and look better than these all day long I think...

Yes great shell for the price usually,!!! not counting covid prices of course ive seen the prices low enough to buy 3 cases almost for same price as 2 cases of janga killa's
Yeah, for the price they are decent, but honestly I prefer Hammer of Thunder for the same price wholesale.. I have to ship from either place, and HoT just has more varied and better effects I think.. These sounded really nice, but a lot of the effects were kinda the same... IDK.. Geisha's I will be ordering a TON of again.. these I am not sure..

@@bud-wisergrowery4181 Superior makes them, not sure if Elite carries them.. I still haven't made it to the NH store yet.. I was planning on this Friday but it sounds like they are going to close down for 2 weeks to focus on restock seeing the rush opened early :( SSOOOOONNN

Chormas are pretty darn good and the price is right 💯🔥💥
If the price is right, I will get them again to finale them up fast fused.... But, I still think Hammer of Thunders are better for that...

On of those cases where the labeling is better than the breaks. Good for the price tho.

For the price no other retailer compare to chroma shells for the price no doubt😊
Getting them on sale they are a great sky puke shell!! Personally though I prefer Hammer of Thunder from Superior though.. Better effects, and without a sale they are 50 a kit wholesale, BUT the Feb sale is 10% off, spend 1k get another 10% off.. And they come in CHEAP and are AWESOME!!

@@trinidadnabor8807 Superior Fireworks online (or in Florida) you can buy wholesale with a 1k order, and man all of their brand I have tried has been AWESOME!! They carry other brands too you can get. Feb is coming for that extra 10% off!!!!

Honestly, I liked the excals better... More color in the the Excals to make them look different BUT I personally couldn't get excals for the price I paid for these Chroma on the NYE sale... if I could get them both for the same $$ I would go excals instead (and collect those nice Mortars to make a few awesome poor mans racks) When I was watching the Chromas go up, I was wondering if I had multiples of the same shell mixed in... Who knows maybe i did and they were mislabeled but even watching this footage again some of the shells just look the same..
@@denfireworks Personally… i like exal plat the most Not a fan of exal 4in. I e noticed that over the last few years some batches of chromas are better than others. But over all exal plat , growlers and geishas are my tops
@@majorpyrotechniks_ I haven't tried the Plats yet.. Just the 4". Maybe I got a bad batch?? IDK.... Geishas are LEGIT and as soon as they go on sale again I want to buy a few cases (if the bank account allows it). I still need to try Growlers.... I love Superiors shells honestly, and their prices wholesale are great too!

I love chromas
I liked them..but a lot of them looked the same. I am going to blast the rest of mine off in a finale and it should work great! But price performance I think I am go with the hammer of thunders personally...these aren't bad shells and I love the big crackle but....now the geisha's...I love those!!! I need to get more and more of them
Love the marketing of these but your right. Very generic breaks. Looks almost as it they swept up the leftover stars off the floor and plopped em in the casings! 😂
Yeah... they list all those colors on the box but I didn't really see them... Nice crackle to throw up in a finale rack... I got 2 sets left and I am just going to finale them both up in my 50 shot rack I think...
I’m going to give Chromas another try one of these days. The case I received must’ve been a factory dud, or they just simply skimped on my batch at the factory. All had small breaks!! I was personally disappointed; all the other Red Apple shells I’ve shot have been top-notch! The Bombas & Geisha are a must!
LOVE the Geisha and the Bombas LOVE THEM!!! I really need to buy a few more cases of them!! IDK.. the chromas hit nice, did have good size breaks... but a lot of them looked the same... I am going to rip through my last ones in a finale and not sure if I will get them again. I got a case for 159 on sale so the price is right BUT I can get Hammer of Thunders from Superior for just about the same price wholesale all the time and I like those better personally.... I will say stay away from the American Glory shells though!!! I just had a ton of low breaks with mine, but seeing a lot of mortars destroyed from them, and a lot more people having low breaks too.
