Pileated Woodpecker Camp 2023 04 04

A Male Pileated woodpecker excavating and feeding. The red stripe behind the beak indicates a male. Females lack that feature. This was tough to film as it was hand held with the sun behind the tree. Nearly 3 lbs of camera and telephoto lens :) Did my best in trying to keep the camera relatively stable.
