I have put cayin RU7 next to onyx and wow instantly noticed a special deepening in sound stage and bass. I don’t know if I am identifying what it is that sounds so good with this dongle.
I need my Sennheiser IE200 to not have the treble so extended, how would this dongle help me, would it darken the signature a bit or would the treble not be so extended?
@@suanenggoh3216 The problem is that this IE200 has a lot of difficulties to find compatible eartips, since the original ones have a different shape than the ones normally available on the market.
I sometimes use dsd 64 mode - for less offensive treble on RU7. Its warmer n less offensive in treble (not a fix but helps abit). This little guy is pretty flexible with 3 dsd mode each sound profile is perceivable different.

This is not really a fix it dongle. Sounds like you need a new Fiio with PEQ

Can try tip rolling… think final e tips for less treble. Can do some research for “mod”

He covered it... but the *best* in his edit is the DC Elite for 4X the Alpha.
Still this isn't a slouch.
