This is my new favorite game, so I'm happy to see it played here! I'm also happy to see that people used their lanterns to gain bonuses on the wheel rather than store them up for extra turns. A lot of first-time players make the mistake of chasing an extra action at the expense of many good freebies. Also, Edward twice used lanterns to get freebies for himself *and* cleared out the region so that no one else could get the same benefit. Well played!
@@zibus8456 A lot of people have said that. I suppose I don't value helpers as much as others, so I haven't found that to be an issue. As for missing out on orders, that can be true, but I don't think very many orders are intrinsically better than others. Some match your specific board state better than others, but other players probably shouldn't want those, right? In addition, the later seats have the advantage that they can capitalize on the rewards left behind by the first players' wheel movement.
This game looks really lovely. It's got lots of "meat" to it, but also a lovely theme. I like the action "wheel" mechanism. In fact, there are a lot of mechanisms in here: the contracts move down, actions refresh, various tracks, dice, wow...
Really enjoying this game myself! Like one thing is that you guys were definitely too shy to buy extra contracts. Spending the 3 berries to save yourself a turn layer is super valuable. Hope you guys play it again sometime!
Edward could have done the last contract. Taking the upgrade action for the second saw but moving with lamp the buy from lumber yard tiel for the 2 points and the sawblade.

How do you feel about 1st player not rotating? It can feel real bad not getting a shot at the contracts or workers you want.

Loving Alyssa's hair. Very thematic to the game.
Totally why I did it. 😁
Definitely. Always appreciate Alyssa on the stream!

Thanks all, another excellent playthrough
At 1:10:31, why did Alyssa get a lantern? Edward got that just before for the action space but she seemed to have taken a lantern I stead of a saw.
Beautiful game! Played yesterday and very funny!

Gah! Good catch!
absolutely loving alyssa's hair and nails!!
I know, right?👍🏼
How does Woodcraft compare to La Granja?
you helped me deciding not to buy this game. I need interaction in my games. too bad. the dice manipulation seems interesting.
not complaining by the way. thanks as always for your passionate work.
So why do you watch a euro game letsplay? Play area control or euro with area control
@@Plaksa2004 I consider Brass an euro game, so I do regarding splotter spellen games. Plenty of interaction there. Thanks for your advice.
