Yes that was a bit of luck. I bought a very similar selfie stick from an iffy character in the market for £15. Yes I know. I got the bluetooth to work easily. But I was worried about changing the battery. You say you just prise it open and insert a 16 32 battery. I can probably work that out. Thanks a lot.
Ok I just got the Q02 Tokqi and the BT selfie remote would not work for my Iphone 13 Pro Max until I actually opened the camera app. Once I opened the camera app I pressed the button on the remote and it took the selfie. When I switched to Video on the camera app and pressed the remote it started recording. So it does work you just have to open the camera app otherwise it will only raise the volume. Hope that helps!

I think either that battery for remote control is weak or remote control is defective.. otherwise if you are able to connect other devices to your phone (Bluetooth) and not this remote control, so most likely is the 2 problems that i mentioned above . thx, got the same one and wasn't sure how the remote works (did not really give it a try yet) it's fairly decent for the price (got it for $7), could be more stable but it works, even though just barely, and is somewhat clever design with the integrated tripod in the handle and integrated detachable remote, unlike some others where it will be lost probably soon ;o] I did cut off some of the plastic so allow for more forward tilt, so I can record something from top view
@HeadBassVTEC that is nice, also I realize that most of the other brands my Samsung Galaxy S24 will not fit , because the opening is small , but with this I cam fit even with case on my Samsung Galaxy s24, if you know what I mean?

Selfie app) .. that all what I can think of However can you try using the selfie stick with other applications? Like Facebook or Tweeter, if so that means the selfie Stick and its Software is working fine, if not that means the selfie stick is not working at all
The only way is to see if the product is working is to change the battery, if it still doesn't work then the product is defective and you should refunded .

Perfect explanation. Simple and clear. These selfie sticks are amazing because they give me the option of holding the phone on the tripod and taking the remote with you and take a group shot with you in it while you’re taking the picture by pressing the remote in your hand.
It is possible the phone fault, because as long as it responds to " selfie stick" command meaning there is communication, but the phone did not perform as needed

Today I bought this very useful Bluetooth connection
