Use the team elk pack. It’s more rain resistant. And packs more meat more easily

Just bought the team elk. I’m excited to see how much better it will be over old military pack.

Both look like nice bags. If I was returning to base camp every night, I would use the X2. Thanks for sharing these products, be well my friends.

I am currently researching backpacks for an elk hunt. I require a gun scabbard but do not need a huge pack since we will only be day hunting. I looked at Eberlestock last week and ordered a few to field test. Great review…thanks!

My choice would be team elk, even for deer hunting. I preffer larger packs over the smaller ones, due to how fast they fill up. If i need to bring extra stuff theirs never anymore room. I personally dont like the way the x2 packs meat out for two reasons. One it puts excessive weight on pulling you backwards which strains your shoulders and core. 2 i like to have my meat higher on the pack, so your lower back doesnt go numb or pain on my hips. I use different packs though for different hunts, depending on if i sleep in my truck, weather, environment, food, ect. Always better to have more room than not either way.
