Just seeing this in a few months, still this awesome footage. I’m guessing the loads were 50-80 tons with all those big rocks and stones. Keep up the good work
@@french_machinery_channel Thanks for the response, look forward to more of your vids, I just like seeing the blasted rock being loaded and handled, even would like to see it dumped
John M. Evangelis, That's a indicator of the inboard weightsystem in the trucks! Green flashes, Keep loading. The light turns red when maximum weight for the truck i reached!
Gilles Auriol, ok! The rock is mabe used to building something else then? The excavation is to make more space to fill? We usually fill up natural walleys in Norway. The terrain here variets a lot in hight! Are you an operator yourselves?
I have been working with plant for 30 years and there are two schools of thought but never found out which one is correct I suppose if weight is on drive sprocket's it would wear them out sooner than the other other way round
Simon Taylor , in this case bailing, loading trucks, trenching, pipeline trenching, most any duty cycle work you should be digging over the idler not the drive sprocket
@@french_machinery_channel haha I know I know. I've dug enough in those conditions that I feel for the guy. Good operator but that makes my body hurt to watch!

Literally, a hardcore video, great stuff.
From the way he beeps the horn it sounds like the Cat operator is pissed off about something.

Awesome footage like to see this, I’m guessing these rocks will be turned into gravel or aggregate or road base material??
No, they create a landfill and rocks are definitively thrown

I wonder if that poof who was complaining about the Volvo 385 operator saw this video? He would have a conniption! This guy is a little rough lol
Does anyone know what the flashing green light on top of the driver's side mirror on the dump trucks?

Correct
great vid Gilles. Are you working at some company with road construction....?or?
best regards from Roumanie
what is the correct position drive sprocket's to the front when loading or to the rear?
Simon Taylor , in this case bailing, loading trucks, trenching, pipeline trenching, most any duty cycle work you should be digging over the idler not the drive sprocket
Thanks thanks cleared that mystery up
easy task. work in demolition with the sprocket to the work side and ruin your drive through steel and rocks...
High productivity ? mdr et bin ça a bien changer razel
klasse video,s...
That looks like absolutely miserable digging....
